  1. I may save this one or the other one I posted for next year's Christmas countdown. Possibly by putting it to a vote. Thanks for all the loves, wows and likes.

  2. Moving on from bumbershoots and old folks....🙃 Not only do I feed peanuts and seeds to the critters in the backyard, but sometimes I watch their behaviours and silly antics. This particular girl (my photo) savours every peanut she gets, leans way back to eat it, and sometimes falls right over! It looks like she's in raptures with her treats.

  3. OMG! This is precious. Fabulous shot, you can see how she savors it. It must be quite funny when she falls over. It is fun to watch all the antics out my dining room window too.

  6. JUMPING UP AND DOWN!!!! Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww It turned out so GREAT! I knew all your hard work would be awesome, but I could not wait to see how Staples turned out! It is truly magical!!!! It's amazing how REALLY GREAT this turned out! I especially like the glossy effect....and I think the size of the type turned out just right. It was well worth the wait. Love it, Cassel...JUST LOVE IT!!!!

  7. Oh man, we gotta wait a whole year!? hahaha, it will make me wish for Christmas every day. And thank you for the Countdown gift. It's delight to click on the number and see that I'm getting your word art. You have such a natural ability for word art design. You would have been a brilliant Calligrapher.

  8. As soon as I saw that this freebie was about cookies, a song came to mind. In Germany there is a nursery song about the Christmas bakery and every year there is a children's choir in one of the big shows on the telly that is singing it. Cristina, Anja and Doska will certainly know it. It is called: "In der Weihnachtsbäckerei" and for those who want to hear it, you can google it and get many hits. Carole thanks, I can't get it out of my head now and am singing/humming it for the last 2 days!🗣️ I even found a sticker about that bakery, it was on a white background but thanks to the blendmode hard light the white disappeared. I have the cookiescript 2 and have "baked" a couple of cookies with some sprinkles and glitter, put them on a plate with a doilie behind. The picture of the bakery shop I had in my stash and I used a mask to get rid of the ugly torn edges. And of course I used the freebie cookies for the text.

  10. I was thinking of starting my 2024 cards in January/February, well, the photographs for them and that way I can be less rushed that I usually am, since it's also the busy time at work. Your word art is something to behold. You are such a natural at the design of it from choosing the fonts, the elements and the balance of the layout.

  14. I just got my print job back from Staples. The camera flash left a bit of a glare. This is my completed calendar from the workshop which is a gift for granddaughter Jackie and her husband, Corey. I'm also including a copy of the book The No 1 Ladies Detective Agency by Alexander McCall Smith as a companion to the calendar as it inspired me in my research about Botswana. Jackie is a zookeeper and animals from all over the world are her passion. (The apple didn't fall far from the tree; just skipped a generation! 😉 )
