  1. So, here is my next Chattanooga Trip layout. The font is Academy Engraved LET and I filled the open areas with a pattern taken from the water of one of the pictures. The anchor element came from NicePng and the lifesaver element came from pixel scrapper - Jessica Dunn (One of my favorite designers).

  2. Last night I created this birthday ecard. After discovering the May tut/tech challenge this morning, I decided to use it to advertise a fictitious event. There are so many different tag designs which can be used in so many ways to help showcase photos. The one with the threaded ribbon I copied from a magazine. I created my own version of a ticket design, which I saw somewhere or other. I jot down on paper designs that I see on the telly, or in a magazine, or online ads creating then as when needed. The pinned tag design will be familiar to you. I frequently use many other techniques in my pages, putting emphasis on small realistic details.

  3. My granddaughter did a "photo shoot" when she was pregnant with Logan back in 2021. I only recently got this striking black and white so had to use it! The title font is Droid from the newest Lab. The background is shiny silver from Sheila. The splatter paint is from my own kit as is the star. I embedded the bear top right and used the sculpture texture effect on the frame.

  5. I created a tag from a rectangle and a triangle for one of my Chattanooga layouts. So I guess it qualifies to display here. (I did change the spelling of Aquarium).

  6. The Campus is the perfect place to learn more about photo editing, various techniques, or PSP in general. This challenge will give you an opportunity to practice some of those techniques or use some tools. This time, the Tut/Tech Challenge will be to create a preset shape for a tag. Of course, you can create something simple, but it would be a great opportunity to practice what was shown in the April and May Master Classes. Show the tag shape, but if you can use it in a project, it is even better. Show us what you learned.

  7. I don’t want to come across as being critical, but even with my good eyesight I had to look hard at the month, which looks as if it’s embossed on the bear. I also have a question about your framing, was it a pre-made frame, or possibly an extracted frame, as it looks like you have a double frame visible on the left side, and one solid frame on the other 3 sides. The top of the frame isn’t as bevelled as the other sides either. The frame isn't consistent on all four sides. Carole has masterclasses on basic framing, if you are having problems creating frames. Using the rectangle tool, I can create a single frame like that in literally 5 steps, that includes the sculpture tool as well. I’m curious to know how you did the frame. It stood out to me, which distracted my eye from the the main focus, and that is the photo on the page.

  9. The script you mentioned I used in the page below. It's a page from 2015. I haven't used it in ages. It was one of the very first scripts I bought. I tend to use the rotate command, which is located in the centre of any image. You will also find the technique in Carole's book called Tips and Tricks for PSP

  14. When I get one, I will refer back to this post. I never shot with my new camera because the settings were in weird places and more steps to get to where I wanted to be in the set up. Finally I said, put the other camera away! It's there if I need it, and now I'm finally bumbling my way through and it wasnt as bad as I thought (still tons to learn).

  16. We have already had Mothering Sunday here in the UK back in March. However, like many people I get tangled up in Family History and have some photo's of my ancestors on Ancestry. I did something with my Mum's photo over this past weekend to make it a bit more interesting. I used one of Carole's corner brushes that i bought a few weeks ago, joined it up with straight lines, then used Carole's Bronzit script which makes a fab and unique frame befitting of my lovely mother. I also added a corner tube and used the Top Left Mirror Simple plugin to get it all aligned. I love how it turned out and is a tribute to my long deceased Mum who I miss more than ever. Love to all the Mothers here and all that can, have a fab and loving day.
