Annie Tobin Posted November 29, 2020 Posted November 29, 2020 Michele, your silver LO is lovely my friend. Terrific idea to use a snippet of the dress for the background. Well done. Corrie, your subway art is lovely and clever use of different languages for seasonal greetings ... love it my friend. 1
Sue Thomas Posted November 30, 2020 Posted November 30, 2020 Xmas Subway art. I created the stocking, mitten , decorated Xmas tree, and cup myself. Carole has a tutorial on creating the mitten, I used the same technique to create to stocking. She also has a tutorial on making Xmas trees. The bells are duplicated clip art I found online. I do enjoy doing these. I find creating subway art relaxing, and quite therapeutic, with something productive at the end of it. 1
Sue Thomas Posted November 30, 2020 Posted November 30, 2020 Meant to say that all the elements I created myself. Carole has a mitten tutorial, I used the same technique to create the stocking. She also has a Xmas tree tutorial, mine is different, I created a cone one, instead of triangles. 1
Annie Tobin Posted November 30, 2020 Posted November 30, 2020 Sue I know you said previously that you love wordart and it shows. This is delightful subway art and very clever work on the mitten, stocking and xmas tree. Hats off to ya my friend! ;D 1
Sue Thomas Posted November 30, 2020 Posted November 30, 2020 Again, thank you ever so much, it's always a great compliment coming from a fellow psper. Are you slowly getting back into the swing of creating? Give the word art a go, it's easy and relaxing, 1
Annie Tobin Posted November 30, 2020 Posted November 30, 2020 You are welcome Sue. I am going to have another go at the subway art and today I am playing around with the scavenger hunt. Carole certainly doesn't let us get bored, lol! 1
Sue Thomas Posted December 1, 2020 Posted December 1, 2020 No she doesn't, she always comes up with unique ideas to keep us motivted. Take care, my friend. 1
Michele Posted December 1, 2020 Posted December 1, 2020 Since I don't seem to be creating anything except for my gaming group, I thought I'd share today's. 1
Sue Thomas Posted December 1, 2020 Posted December 1, 2020 I said earlier, it's fabulous, like an oil painting. 1
Corrie Kinkel Posted December 1, 2020 Posted December 1, 2020 Thank you Annie, the subway art is lovely, do give it another try. I'll certainly will over the next month, its also great for birthdays etc, You can make it so personal for the recipient of the card. I'm also working on the scavanger hunt at the moment. Michelle, I like your background made from that gorgious dress, it looks very much like a painting from Monet. 1
Cristina Posted December 2, 2020 Posted December 2, 2020 There are so many fun, lovely and beautiful layouts, subway art, and tags that it is hard to keep up with all the work if you often don't come here. Great work, and a joy to see all the little details and techniques. Everyone's work has shown how creative this group is! 1
Lynda DiGregor Posted December 2, 2020 Posted December 2, 2020 Everyone is doing such a great job. I love the Subway Art. I need to get on that although it seems the ideas are just not coming. I've been babysitting my neighbor's dog. She takes up a lot of time although it is fun. Maybe a dog subway art! Needless to say I haven't been at the computer much. I did manage to finish the calendar and am now getting them ready to mail. I sat down this morning and decided to do a Lab. I'm at 10-10 , first part and I just love this concept. Here are a few of the cross patterns I came up with. 1
Lynda DiGregor Posted December 2, 2020 Posted December 2, 2020 I agree with Sue, this does look like an oil painting. Fantastic job! 1
Cassel Posted December 2, 2020 Author Posted December 2, 2020 Lynda, isn't that a versatile type of pattern? You can create dozens of designs with a single tutorial! 1
Annie Tobin Posted December 2, 2020 Posted December 2, 2020 Lynda, top marks for the pages, they are beautiful. I must explore more of L10M10 ... you have inspired me! 1
Michele Posted December 3, 2020 Posted December 3, 2020 Great papers, Lynda. I really have to get back to the labs. 1
Karon Dey Posted December 6, 2020 Posted December 6, 2020 Sue, you are the master of subway art. I love how you included elements that you made yourself. Well done. Michele, it is always a delight to see what you create for your gaming group. The expressionism is no exception. Beautiful colors. Lynda, gorgeous cross patterns. Glad to see you back doing the labs. They are a lot of fun (although, sometimes exasperating, when my mind isn't working....LOL). 1
