Dag 5 gebruikte
ik de foto van een paar theepotten in een huisje waar ik een paar jaar geleden verbleef voor mijn 70e verjaardag.
Het hebben van een zeer kleurrijke theepot werkte goed met de kit die voor deze sjabloon werd genoemd.

To change the font on the individual letters, you don't need them on separate layers. Is that what you were trying to do?

A lot of fun with layout 6. The font is ChunkFive Roman. the picture I generated with CF Spark. the patterns of the papers are mine. Thanskgiving is tomorrow and I really need to get busy. The outline of the Ace of Hearts (which is from CF) is Cass red sequin; the outline of the title is my own

I finally got day 6 done. When I saw Carole's rope, I knew exactly what I wanted to do. Still have #7 to do. I'm really having to dust the cobwebs off to get these done which is why I took the class! The two little graphics are free clip art from a Google search.

Day 6
I finally got time to do more of the workshop, only one more page to go.
This wee dot is the grandchild of a friend. Her name is Poppy, and in a few days, she will be four years old.
The word pēpē means baby in Maori, Poppy was just born when this photograph was taken, she lives in Australia, and I have yet to meet her, and her almost 1-year-old sister, Ruby.

I love the brightness of the papers here and decided to create piping between them and the image of Poppy. For some reason, I didn't get stroke objects in raster; they didn't show at all, but the various layers for the wool did show up, so no drop shadow there.

Actually, I never knew you could do that.  How do you do that?  I do constantly clear the temp files and do a disk clean up on the hard drives.  then I'll do a reboot.  And before the masterclasses and Q&As I clear the browsing cache.  Thank you for the info about the clipboard.  I'll start doing it once I learn how.

Emty Clipboard is in the drop  down menu when you click on Edit.

Here is my page 6 showing our cat Calico Tom. (He was not a Calico, but the name somehow stuck). He traveled to the Rainbow Bridge a few years ago but he will remain in our hearts forever. Papers and cluster are from Digital Scrapbooking and I added the heart shape to the cluster. Font is Showcard Gothic. I am really enjoying this workshop.

luster.

Day 7
This one was tough, I couldn't think which photograph to use, so I went with the colour green.
I used Rachel Martin's kit suggested, she had some great colours there, and plenty of greens.

Thanks for the interesting workshop, Carole, some wonderful ways to play with text, I must say. I really love the way everyone works together to encourage each other.

Thank you.

Here is my final lesson. I couldn't choose so I did both. I really enjoyed the class Carole, as always! I will be taking more so I can jog brain cells. Everyone seems quite talented!

Happy Thanksgiving for us living in the USA.

I haven't done this workshop in the order it was given; unexpectedly I didn't have much time available this week. I have done this workshop before so I could pick the tutorial for which I had time to do it. Here are my last 2 days; for day 5 I only made the text on a label that I can use this X-mas with the cards from the other days. I have even printed one of those cards because it had to go in the mail to my family in the States and it will take a while to get there. The label comes from DBMagnolia and the stamp I created a while ago.

For day 7 I had no ideas for a X-mas or New Year card and it took me a while to find a suitable photo. I almost never use a photo from my grandkids because my daughter doesn't want me to do so and if I do, I have to blur their faces which for this tutorial makes no sense. I found something but I admit it isn't the greatest photo to use. The papers and cluster come all from another kit by DBMagnolia - Winter morning and the snowflakes come from a freebie from Creative Fabrica. The font is Western Bold and the text is Arial.

Although I haven't been very active, I have enjoyed all the work and creativity from you all which made we want to try to do as many days as I could. I hope to see you soon in one of the other workshops that will come in the next year. Carole thank you for giving this workshop again and as always there are things or tricks that have faded from my memory because I don't use them that often.

Corrie, I love what you have created. The photograph of the children is perfect, and sure, we can't see who they are, they do look as though they are having heaps of fun in the snow. Yosemite was all sunshine when I went back in 1988, and I'd bet it has changed a bit since then. The Kerstmis lettering looks fabulous, the red is perfect.
