Cassel Posted September 6, 2023 Posted September 6, 2023 So what will you be doing this week with the Campus Dozen activities? Will you come to the Party? Join the Treasure Hunt? 12 years of existence is a great milestone for any online hub, don't you think? Let's chitchat about it. 1
Susan Ewart Posted September 6, 2023 Posted September 6, 2023 (edited) It's is a great milestone. Congratulations Carole. You've built a really incredible and special space for all of us. And you spoil us with so many freebies, classes, workshops and countless hours of being there for us when we need you. Thank you for...well..YOU! I plan to do as many activities as I can. I cant bring a #12 because none of my computers have a camera. I am looking forward to the treasure hunt. I always love that one. Edited September 6, 2023 by Susan Ewart 2
Michele Posted September 6, 2023 Posted September 6, 2023 What an achievement, @Carole Asselin. Did you ever, in your wildest dreams, think the site would become this successful? I always look forward to your treasure hunts. 2
Ann Seeber Posted September 6, 2023 Posted September 6, 2023 I think I actually joined in 2020 so I'm in my 4th year here and it has been incredible! I already posted New Kid on the Block from my first Boot Camp. Congratulations on 12 years, Carole! I'm hoping to win your book: "Remember When...?" 2
Anne Lamp Posted September 6, 2023 Posted September 6, 2023 Thanks, for all you do for all of us. I plan on trying to do everything listed. I really enjoyed the treasure hunt the last time even if I did need some hints on a couple of things. 2

It is even hard to imagine what I would do 10 years down the line. When I started the Campus, it was just a little side hustle. I still had a full-time job and still had young adult children at home. Now, I am an empty nester and retired from my job, which allows me more time to be with you all! Let's go for another 10-12 years! 3

Corrie Kinkel Posted September 6, 2023 Posted September 6, 2023 Many congratulations from me too! 12 years of the Campus and still going strong, what an achievement. I am very proud and thankful to be an active member for the last 4 years. You are always there for us when we need help or inspiration. I look forward to all the planned activities and will try to join in the fun, the treasure hunt and the party.
Suzy Posted September 8, 2023 Posted September 8, 2023 (edited) Congratulations, Carole! I think I’ll come to the party dressed as a clock! There are 12 months in a year. In astrology, there are 12 signs in the Western and the Chinese zodiac. An analogue clock has 12 hours visible on its face. 12:00 hours when the sun shines is called midday or noon, and 12:00 hours when the moon shines in the beautiful sky is called midnight. A dozen is a quantity that contains 12 things. A gross contains 12 dozen. There are 12 inches in a foot. A group of 12 things is called a ‘duodecad.’ There are 12 face cards in a deck. Normally, there are 12 pairs of ribs in the human body. Most the keyboards of a computer have 12 Function Keys. 12 is a composite number, an even number, a natural number, and a whole number. 12 is the smallest number that has exactly six divisors, which are 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 and 12. Regular cubes and cuboids have 12 edges. In Indian schooling, the classes typically end at the 12 standard. In English, 12 is the largest number with only one syllable. Only 12 people have walked on the moon so far. There are 12 stars on the flag of Europe. Jesus had 12 disciples. Scrapbook Campus was started 12 years ago by Carole Asselin, Cassel. Jannette Nieuwboer Posted September 8, 2023 Posted September 8, 2023 ??? Congrats also from me. I had accidentally thrown away your newsletter from this week, apparently between all those notifications. So I was searching in my bucket there it was. My only lack is that I don't have FB. First I have to do some housekeeping. But it's very hot here, nearby boiling at the moment. In the afternoon, I hide indoors.
