  1. Sue, what I love the most in your projects, is how you often let something of your subject come across a frame, I can't quite translate what I mean, it's like in your project of the house sparrow female. the tail comes over the frame, it's always so beautifully extracted. What tool/technique do you use if I may ask?
  2. I first created a color palette using the Palette Maker2 script from the Store. I used those colors to make the Swirl Pattern, as background I chose a dark color from the clouds in the photo. The flowers are from themagnoliapatch.blogspot.com, and the photos are my own.

  3. Like Sue, I used PSP for the same purposes as Sue, never scrapbooking either. But even though I worked a lot with PSP, I still have and learn a lot here on campus. It's also a really nice place because there is a contact through the forum and the webinars. It is indeed not easy to summarize the many reasons in one sentence.
  4. Monique thanks  for the link! so I was just looking for that link, and had already looked at a masterclass, but as Rene pointed out, I wasn't sure it was that method you used either. Now that I read that the link was missing, I understand why it was so confusing to me.
  5. Susan, thank you,  I'm going to have to do it again, because I've done so much and of course not noted down, what I do remember is that I first made a raster with the edge and filled it in a shade of gray.

A second raster with the top text in a shade of gray

a third raster with the bottom text.

Then came the thinking of how to make the selections, I have to do that again to be able to explain it, because I don't remember how I did it myself ?

  6. Carole, I have a problem, I think something is wrong with my settings.

I got this result with the palette maker 2 script.

photos from my DSLR (photo 1) are the dimensions 5184 x 3456 and there the result is ok.

the dimensions of the photos from my mobile (photo 2-3) are 4032 x 3024 and as a result I always get the following ?

The dimensions of the photo with the bird (3) are 3840 x2160 and the result is also not ok there.

Is there something in my settings that isn't right?
