One of my favorite topics is my beautiful niece, Mikayla, and her finance, Joey. She has graciously shared her photos, including her wedding dress which I will not use. I made the heart background using one of my shimmer papers, the ellipse background was made with gmic filter and the rectangle from a FF linen seamless pattern. I lowered the opacity on the dots. The font is Morning Love from Creative Fabrica.

It's still raining here, no snow yet. I am still addicted to making masks. I downloaded a picture from Creative Fabrica, removed the background, and used brightness and contrast to make it black. I applied cass script raster to mask and added one of my daisy pictures.

I am working on a friend's Canva project and made this table of contents. The light bulb is a black preset shape which was altered with vectors. For some reason the Canva clipboard misaligns the one top text, but it looks good in the presentation. Canva is a whole other learning curve, and I'm not ready to indulge. I am only using it because of my friend's presentation. Thanks Carole for the great vector lessons!

Yes, the script makes preset shapes from font dingbats.

I made sure that when I bought my new computer last year that it had a lot of ram, but I guess I'm still remembering the cautions about too many fonts installed slow your computer. What font viewer are you using? I have AMP font viewer also, but don't use it much even though it installs fonts temporarily.

I like NexusFont because as long as the fonts are in the uninstalled folder, I don't have to install them in the Windows font folder. I try to keep my installed fonts at a minimum. Creative Fabrica is not helping my font addiction.😄

Organizing fonts is very tedious work. Installed fonts are no problem, but finding where I saved the uninstalled fonts was difficult since I have them in so many files. Then I put them into 2 programs. NexusFont and Character Map UWP. I like UWP since it shows all the additonal characters and is large enough for my poor eyes to see without strain. I have several programs to wash my windows, including a Dell program that came with the computer and Norton Utilities Ultimate.

I've started organizing my fonts into categories using NexusFont and Character Map UWP. In preparation for the Template Workshop, I have also been making masks using cass raster to mask. Most of the shapes are from preset shapes and preset shapes that I created using the ss Making preset shapes scrip.

My favorites: custom directional tube; raster to mask; scatter brush; scattered elements; seamless tiling; all the bow scripts; curling ribbon; custom calendar; glitter B; guiding lines. Just to name a few. I have some new ones that I haven't tried yet. I especially love creating glitters.

I'm in! Looking forward to this workshop.

We spent Christmas at Caesar's Windsor in Windsor, Canada. The weather was a little foggy😄. We had a wonderful time and didn't lose a whole lot. The background is my photo and the small picture is mine with Carole's Frame filled with a glitter that I made using one of cass glitter scripts. The red background is from Creative Fabrica. The font is Christmas Crafter and can be found on Creative Fabrica.

I have been making Christmas Cards for my two youngest grandsons. I used Carole's letters and my picture of Phillip at the computer. Everything else is from Creative Fabrica.

Has anyone had any problems with Balls and Bubbles in Ultimate 2023. I am trying to make a ball and the plugin just keeps freezing the program. I am not having this problem in 2022.

I was really lazy this year and most of my graphics and the font are from Creative Fabrica. The photo collage is from a free download, but I removed the background and moved it to my card. The card was made for my grandkids and their girlfriends who live in Las Vegas. I know it's pretty busy, but I have trouble restraining myself. The font is a glyph font called Helo Angel from Creative Fabrica. The gold snowflakes are also from a free template. This card is the front and needs to folded in half. Original is letter size to fit my card paper.

I was going to print my calendar myself, but ink is so expensive. UPS printing will print a page for 69 cents so I am going to check them out.

I downloaded both fonts from Creative Fabrica and am using Character Map UMP. I have had no problem copying and pasting the glyphs. I love Samantha Upright and used it for my calendar fonts.

My final three months: October - the picture and the marigolds are mine. The marigold leaves are from Creative Fabrica; November - The picture is of my beautiful hydrangea after our first snow of the season. The peonies are from Creative Fabrica; December - I made the train after our Vector Workshop. I made the Santa, elves and snowman are from Cassel with elves faces my kids. The poinsettias are from Creative Fabrica. Trees are from deeezy.com Fonts are Samantha Upright from Creative Fabrica and Centuary Display which is an olf. i now have all the birthstone tubes made with FilterForge and cass directional tube script(I love this script).

Julian, I used the cass custom calendar script which gives you a choice of what type of box that you want. I choose a rounded square preset for the box, rasterized the vector and add a color that I chose from my calendar page. The script adds the calendar boxes and then asks you to choose a text. It then fills the boxes with your chosen text. Whenever I watch a Masterclass or tutorial, I take note of what bevel Carole uses such as for flowers, paper etc. I then label it and save it in my bevels for future use.

July - Picture of my future daughter in law; larkspur from Creative Fabrica August - Picture of my son and his two boys, all born in August; poppies are my own picture with leaves from Creative Fabrica; vase from cass presets; bow is my own. September - Picture is my own; morning glories are from Creative Fabrica. All the jewels were made with Filter Forge and ,made into directional tubes in order to jewel the months with Vectortube.

April, May and June April - my pictures May - my butterfly picture; lily of the valley from Creative Fabrica June - My scanned wedding picture - June 8, 1968; rose petals are from a package that I purchased.

Jan, Feb, March redone using the cass calendar script, shadows and bevels added. The rest of the months still need a little revision.

Julian, here are pictures of the settings that I used for the bevel and drop shadow. I couldn't figure out how to do a screen shot with the bevel screen up so I had to take camera pictures. They are sort of rough looking.

I have been experimenting with borderless printing on my Epson and have finally determined the correct settings so that edges and borders are equal. I copied the calendar page to an 8.5 by 11 paper and filled the edges with a pattern. I have a lot of different kinds of paper and will test the heavier papers to see if you can write on them. I have also been researching how to bind the pages together with ribbon or yarn. My calendar making slowed down, first because I kept changing my mind on the calendar and the shading and the because my grandsons were visiting from Las Vegas for Thanksgiving.
