  1. Card Workshop Card 4. My pipe-dream set of lenses.
  2. Card #4. A little humour of my pipe-dream wish list of lenses. My new camera is begging for them. okay, maybe it's just me begging for them. Treated myself to the Heart Corner Punches. So cool! I see what Sue means, they are addictive and look very nice on a layout. Font is Bronela (Creative Fabrica) and the lenses I took off the google search and extracted them. I'm glad to have learned how to edit the selection from previous workshops/masterclasses. Making the heart ribbon was neat.
  3. Monique, stunning Day 3 card! Moving the selection is right click and hold (in the selection) and move where you want it....I think. Marie-Claire, love those apples and the colors you chose on your Day 3. Everyone has such inspiring work. This workshop has taught me many more techniques that I wondered how to do (or if I did them I took the long way to get the result).
  4. Gerry, I have two questions: How much money do you have? Will you take Canadian applicants? ?
  5. Card #3. How the frames were made was really cool. I'll be using that technique again. I made a card like the sample(as my practice card) and then made this one for the forum. The background and flowers are from DigitalScrapbook.com. The tree is Creative Fabrica and the font (also Creative Fabrica) is The Thesla Ohago. Good grief, who names these? I caught a glimpse of the day 4 card in the gallery, looks very nice. I'm a little behind. Now I can go check out the good works everyone is doing.
  6. Great advice! Those wood ducks know how to live.
  7. Wow! unbelievable cards from everyone. Ideas I would never have thought of. It's so enjoyable to log on and see what's new. Like Monique, I'd to comment on all of them. Chris, I love your darker cards (#86618) and thanks for going to darker side with me. I was thinking of going with black cardstock and envelope this year (I would have to print and affix the print though, more work but would look cool). Monique, thank you so much, my heart is singing from the highest mountain right now (I live close to the Rocky Mountains, so they mighty high). Carole, I did use that darker (low key) image in a Christmas card in the past. But as a photo print on glossy for a crisp feel, that I attached the folded cardstock. If I do print the card I'd have to go to a outsources printer, unless I had my dream Epson printer ($$$$), then I would use a coated stock that handles blacks well.
  8. Card number two. I followed the layout and really enjoyed the exercise. Remembering all the shortcut commands is another story. My cheat sheet was hiding. I liked the part about making the back. I did do a back but showing the front here. Cupcake is from the tutorial (Digital Scrapbook.com) and Font is Adam Melda. I like the template and lots of ideas to fill the boxes.
  9. Card 1 4x6 size. Used the same font as tutorial - Hestia Austine (Creative Fabrica), snowflake by Sheila Reid (DigitalScrapbook.com) and photo is mine. really enjoyed the tutorial. Not sure how to upload two images from the gallery into one post so I'm doing two. Now I get to go look at all the cool cards!
  10. Card 1 5x7 size. Font used is Amnestia Normal (Creative Fabrica). Photo is mine.
  11. Suzy, I certainly do remember making a 1/4 fold card. That's what that card would be called if it was a newspaper. I work at a web press and we do 1/2 fold and 1/4 fold newspapers for3 provinces.
  12. Lab 6-3 Multiple Scallops Scalloped Shape Translucent Envelope the background is the photo itself. this layout I added a "space" layer on top of the background and reduced the opacity and used the eraser tool to erase any "space" from the surface of the moon.
  13. Lab 6-3 Multiple Scallops, Scalloped Shape, Translucent Envelope the background is the photo itself. This layout is the one before I added the outer space layer. It's seemed a little lifeless.
  14. This is the seed head of a weed I picked up in the dark while photographing the moon one night. I only saw in with my flashlight as we traversed across a field full of ground hog holes. I managed to get it home in one piece.
  15. Spend Clematis flower head in my yard, representing 3 days in my work life...especially the Christmas season.
  16. My cat girls, not long after we adopted them.
  17. LBJ's (little brown jobs) enjoying the bird bath, while 2 blue jays watch the antics (they look just like the blue jays that come to the bath ?).
  18. October 2022 Bootcamp Day3 Project 1
