  1. As I've mentioned (ad nauseam, I'm sure) the game I do these pics for has been repeating themes from a long time ago so I've just been tweaking the originals. Today I took the time to create a new one. The upside-down leprechaun stuck in his pot of gold is a freebie from DitzBlitz. I used several papers for the BG at different opacities including a couple from Janet Kemp's the-lucky-one bundle (PS/DS). The posers are my avatar from the game and the font is Celtic Knots, free from Fontspace.

    Good Morning all,

we have been against it since the daylight saving time change began. You can see where people are headed when they disregard God's orders (including natural laws) and want to change them for economic reasons. Nothing has changed in our well-being, but the “experts” believe that it has made little or no difference in terms of energy consumption. But if you have several animals, you will notice the change in their biorhythm.

But which politicians want to admit they were wrong and change it again? Here in Germany the change is on March 30th/31st.
This is where the clocks are changed in Germany:

    Just saying:

Michele, This post just came in as an email attached to the topic: March Freebie thread.?? When I clicked on it, your post was not there, because, of course, it was HERE. 😜

Yeah, one of the dangers of having more than one tab open on the Campus.🙃

  4. We still follow Daylight Saving Time here in NY. I wish the world would just stop or, at least, do it on the same day. Now that I'm retired, it doesn't affect me, but I always hated it. I remember when my daughter was little, she couldn't understand why she had to go to bed when it was still light out. 🙃

Rice pudding, one of my favourite puddings, served either hot or cold. I make a rice pudding once a week. Traditionally  made with all milk, and pearle rice, in other words pudding rice. I love the skin, which is flavoured with nutmeg.

One of my very favorite desserts!

  6. When I was a kid, we played Pokeno as a family. It's like Bingo except with cards. Also, my siblings and I played the card game Old Maid with my grandmother. Every time she picked the old maid or someone picked it from her, she would start laughing. We all ended up giggling like crazy.

I wasn't finished playing with that Pencilscript (Susan I like it as much as you do!) and this time I wanted to see what the script would make of a photo of a mill. The mill was mostly a dark color and I like the result of the script very much. It very much looks like an old drawing and I need birthday cards for (older) men. I had used this photo for my postage stamps and put that stamp on the back of the card together with my logo. This card has happy birthday in Dutch and I did a German one too; there are a couple of guys I have in mind for this card in 2024! The font is Sonia btw.

Absolutely love your ideas and the result.

I wish I could keep them but I have no more cupboard space, in any cupboard.  I have kept about 20 of them.  It took an entire day of going through them to choose which ones would go.  They are little pieces of art that i can afford.

Is that why you're documenting them now? It's a great idea.

I'm trying to get rid of most of the t-cups and will be the same for the t-pots and here I was in the thrift store yesterday with yet another t-cup and t-pot in my hands!

LOL. Oh, please don't get rid of them. Admit it. You love them.

Here's my childhood toy, a wooden red sled built by my grandfather, Emil Hagquist, who emigrated here from Finland in the early 1900s. I was born the year WWII started and there were no commercial children's sleds to be found in the stores as all the manufacturing was devoted to the war effort. This is an etching created by my daughter, Debbie Lennox, who actually played with this sled. Note, there is no steering mechanism; you had to drag your toes to steer. 😉

I was very touched by your story and your daughter's drawing. My eyes started to leak a little. ❤️
