E = Educate the children, at least that's what all moms are trying to do!

At first I couldn't come up with an idea what to make. I don't like to fold my photos in real life so why would I do that digitally! In the end I folded the background paper with a small fold and made a folded ribbon with a button, then a cluster with 2 other buttons and the frames. At first I wanted to have some text too but in the end I didn't like it, so no text. The last Q&A session had among others a question about how to make a string to tie a button and that's what I practiced here with the buttons. Now I have a template for strings when I need them, very nice. Of course the photo is mine and it is of a field full with dandelions which I saw last week on a walk. I already have lots of photos of all the pretty spring flowers and blossoming trees in my neighborhood and used those in many layouts, therefore now something else. Enjoy!

Cristina good to hear that you are on your way back and I think all of us have encountered those dreadful moments or months when you can't make anything decent how hard you may try. Take your time!!!

The same goes for me!!!

Thank you, it surprised me too? I will certainly download some 3D files again.

By mistake I had downloaded a 3D flower mandela with 6 layers, colored and in png format. I had now clue what to do with it but decided to "assemble" the flower to give it a try before deleting it. The normal shadows didn't give a good result so I tried shadows without an offset and a blur and opacity from 100% on the backlayer to 40% on the toplayer and the little heart has a slight bevel to let it stand out a bit better. I choose a frame from the frames inside PSP and used the Flora Garden font with different colors. At least I had fun making it!

Monique indeed it is Dutch through and through, much more isn't possible! Nice topic for this workshop.
-
Rene I did bind it to my toolbar too, it's so convenient that way!

Ann I had the same problem as you and needed to do that one by hand too with the same result to drag out the instructions! I agree that script gets one very spoiled, but I continue to use it frequently.?
-
My favorite script is not a fancy one with which you can make great layout but the humble "Raster to Mask" script. It is such a time saver but I did buy it on another occasion. From this sale it has to be the "Custom Confetti" and I only gave it a quick try, because this weekend we had visitors and I wanted to finish the Double Page Workshop first. But I like that it makes confetti from any image design or shape, so it will always match the project I'm doing.

And here is day 6 and the last of this workshop! The left side of the double page has photos of a few of the lakes to show something more than the mountains which I love so much. On the right side are some details of the country as a whole. The background is as in the lesson but when I had the left single page background I mirrored it to the other page to avoid a noticeable seam. The embellishments I already had done some time ago and could use here again. Between the photos I used the picture tube water. Fonts are: Lucinda calligraphy and Joaquin Regular which I used throughout this Workshop.

Day 5: I don't have a panoramic photo so I used the same trick as in the lesson. I choose a very wide photo of the mountains which was taken on a very clear day with fantastic views all around. The mountain panorama on one side and a view of the lakes on the other. I tried several colors, patterns and gradients for the background but settled for this one made from the 2 colors of the signpost. The fonts are Dreamy Snowland and Fairy Tales. The cowbells and the ice axe were made for another layout.

Susan very nice use of your always lovely photos!

Ann I remember your layout and the story from the previous challenge!!! That one is hard to forget, so special and I agree it will be hard to top, but maybe something else will be okay too.

Happy Birthday to you and a big thanks for the birthday sale! Enjoy your day and may the coming year be a great one for you personally and for the scrapbook/store community too.??

Day 4 and it was a struggle to get something to my liking. I already did the Double Take Challenge as it was called then and that was all about flowers. My theme this time isn't about flowers, but in the Alps are growing beautiful ones and I wanted to use them for this layout. The dilemma was that I didn't want to make more or less the same page although with different flower photos. The idea for this layout is based on template by Yin Design and the background is a photo by Alicja on Pixabay. The font is Groovy Yellow and the little greenery is from my stash.

Day 3: I continue with my theme and the photos are from 2004. I'm very sorry to have to tell that the cave inside the glacier with its sculptures is no longer excisting due to the fact that all the glaciers in the Alps are rapidly declining. You can see climate change happening right in front of you. The font is Imprint MT Shadow.

Day 2: I used the slats horizontally because that fitted my photos better and I made the paper with the little Edelweiss flowers to go with my theme. All the photos are mine except the one with the cars in bad weather, that one came from the internet (no name mentioned). The background paper is made by using an overlay with the blendmode Color. Font is Joaquin Regular, a freebie by Creative Fabrica.

Sharla very nice to see the ruins of the Abbey. A very long time ago I visited there too and it is a magical place. I only have photos on paper in an album, at that point in time we didn't have digital photography at all.

Well I see that I'm not the only one with computer problems. Mine got an update yesterday evening while I had my PSP open, but I was downstairs for a while looking at he Dutch version of the Antiques Road which is a programma I like. When I returned to the pc it was NOT behaving and I had to start my 1st double page a couple of times again before I realized what the problem was. Just close everything and restart and then it was all okay but at that time it was already, or again, after midnight. My theme for this workshop is Switzerland in general. I have been there so many times because my daughter, before moving to the States, has lived there for more then 20 years. I'm just going to show some aspects of Switzerland, think mountains, lakes, flowers etc without giving the names on every photo. I think I'll have to change or adapt the templates because they don't suits my photos. Day 1 features the many mountains of this country.

It seems that most of us don't like clusters very much and that includes me too! When I was searching my photos for the coming Double Page Workshop I decided the theme (I like a theme) Switzerland as I have so many photos about it. I have done some layouts for my daughter and her in-laws so I have the ribbons and the flair button I used for this random challenge. But it is not my thing, maybe just a good idea to get out of my comfort zone?

Hi Carole, Nice challenge, but I cann't download the template. That's not a problem for me I can do it from scratch, but some other might want a template to play with.
