Julie nicely done and your colors go very well together. I too found it difficult to choose a layout for this scraplift.

Well I never had such a thing for my birthdays or those of my kids. My daughter did themed birthday parties for her kids when they were living in Switzerland but I haven't heard about it now they are living in the States. Of course during the last couple of Corona years there weren't any parties.

I = Impatience when you have to wait till the charcoal is hot enough to start grilling (if you don't have a electric gas bbq)

I rewatched the Q&A session on the Hue Map part of it and it makes that map completely clear now all that settings are explained. I used the saturation and lightness boxes a lot to get the color I wanted when I had a color changed with the sliders. Give it a try!

Jannettte happy 55th wedding anniversary! Take care with your eyes, those inflammations can get nasty, but I hope you will be back soon. In the meantime enjoy the cakes!

Donna like most of us I have a couple of premade cards to use when I need one quickly, because I had forgotten some ones birthday. They are mostly in landscape format and I always have them as a PSP file so I can change backgrounds, colors, photos, names etc as needed for the occasion.

Michele I hope you will have many more happy accidents when playing with a layout! This one is stunning thanks to the colors.

This is the layout I choose for this scraplift and the result. I had a hard time choosing one of the 8 layouts given and in the end I choose for one a bit out of my comfort zone. Mostly my pages are not so busy. To get all the colors working together I used the Hue Map a lot. Thanks to the Q&A of last weekend I finally know how to use that map, it was an eye opener and now it so easy to use!!! I didn't made all the papers and elements myself but used the things I have in my stash or had made on another occasion. The photos are my own and a lot of the papers/elements I used are from Marissa Lerin and from a blogtrain (May 2021). The fonts are Arial and Tribal Case for the title in the banner. Had I realized when I started that it was a lot more work then I anticipated I probably would have gone for one of the less busy layouts.

Wow Susan, you excelled with this layout, so many things to look at and colorful too, just a "real" game.

The building looks a bit like the pool I go to, same big windows. I too go once a week for classes also called Aqua Fit but for persons over 50! We have a lovely group and afterwards have a cup of coffee and a chat. Mostly the chatting already starts in the water but we manage to go along with the lessons too. Your layout is beautiful and reminds me of the one I did for the Alphabet where I used the letter Z for zwembad, which means swimming pool in Dutch.

I 'm participating too and like you all I have difficulties with those handles etc. Hopefully now that will be solved once and for all this time. I shall rewatch the masterclasses again in preparation for this workshop. Glad you are all there, see you soon!

That was a long trip by bike indeed, but you made a great page with those photos and the bike graphic!

Very nice Mary, maybe I should do more of the Labs but I mostly doesn't have time enough to do all the things I want. At the moment I'm enjoying the very nice and warm weather we have, which means more hours outside and less behind the computer. Like you I'm looking forward to the Vectors Workshop and I think it will be a challenge...

On my recent trip to the States I have visited Sedona and the Red Rocks in Arizona. While the rest of my family wanted to do part of a trail up Bell Rock I stayed behind. I walked around a little bit lower where the terrain was a bit better for me and I was taking photos of all sorts of wonderful flowers. I spotted something blue on the ground and went to investigate; it was a Bluebird but when I came nearer he flew away and sat in a tree. In the end I managed to take a couple of photos and made this layout with them. I used some of the latest freebies from Carole because I haven't had the time to play with them. I used: Hanging Photo Grid, but I changed it a bit because I only had 3 photos Date stamp 13 Days, again changed it for my needs Bow 22, a double bow and I was lucky to win that script when I was on my trip. I made a ribbon with a bluebird silhouette and one without and used those for the bow. Background consists of different layers with blendmodes of color and luminance to get a nice blue color Fonts are Bauhause and Arial

Monique these are lovely! It is that I won't take up another hobby anymore, otherwise this would be a candidate!
