  1. Cindy you did it! I'm glad you have your scripts back. Computers sometimes work in mysterious ways.
  2. Mary, wow a great great granddaughter that is something not everybody will experience; congrats and let us know when she has arrived! You are going to need many more cards in the future.
  3. My last entry for this workshop. I made the envelope and put my card in it. I saved the outline of the envelope in case I want to print it on a later date. I haven't commented on all the individual cards made; there were simply too much but they all were lovely in their own right and it was a pleasure to see them all.
  4. Day 7. I made a card (front and back) for a Christmas invitation, but with other colors and flowers it could be for any other occasion. I used the tamplate and the lace changed to white. Creative Fabrica had very nice papers with blue christmas ornaments as a freebie. On the back is my special christmas logo which I did 2 years ago. On my own cards there is always my logo. The font is The Mainsthen. On the inside come the details of the eventand I don't know yet if I will make an insert or print directly on the card, that depends on the paper I'll use. The envelop I probably will do tomorrow because there is something on the telly I want to watch and afterwards it's bedtime for me. Carole I loved this workshop and the templates will be used for many cards to come which will have another theme and probably my flowerphotos. Thank you so much for all of this and all the work you are putting in. I'll look forward to the blackfriday sale and the christmas countdown!!!
  5. Day 6 and another christmas card. I followed the tutorial as far as the recoloring of the paper and the straightening of the ribbon (that was a new one for me). In stead of the oval I made a watercolor of my photo of the redberries with the watercolor script. The font is Michalina by Creative Fabrica if I'm not mistaken. I probably won't print in this format, but just as a double card, or use only the front for email or wattsapp.
  6. No babies or opportunities for baby cards so this time I did a Happy New Year card, always handy to have when you forg0t to send some one a christmas card! Last year I made some photos from the fireworks. I don't have a layered template for this occasion so I do without, but the tutorial about it will come in handy on another moment.
  7. Still with christmascards and this one has a photo of an arrangement I got last year. I made little stars because the lights in that arrangemant were stars and gave the stars, corner punches and text some noise but I'm afraid that doesn't show in this resized version. I know when I print it is visible and gives a slight glitter effect.
  8. Jnet I love your card, a great ides with the snowcristals!
  9. I stick with christmas cards and used the angels that Carole had as a freebie over 2 years ago I think. The colors are not old fashioned christmas colors but I'm okay with that. I learned a new trick to make a quick diamond pattern! The font is Briantone Unique.
  10. Cristina a pity that you cann't join in, but here are sometimes more pressing matters than scrapping. Wish you happy travels and a fantastic family gathering for christmas!!!
  11. Great entries by all, it is a pleasure to browse through them! Here is my day 2 and I stick to christmas cards, although I can imagine the little squares filled with flowers for a birthday card and I will certainly make some too. As I don't have enough winterphotos with snow I decided to use christmas elements from my stash and gave the squares a very small border to let them stand out a bit better. The font is Christmas Holland, very appropriate as my text is in Dutch. I made the back as well, but Carole said to upload just the front.
  12. I need a lot of Christmas cards, so this is the first one. I kept it simple but because my photo had the tree on the left side I mirrored the scallopped mat to the right. I put an old streetlight instead of a ribbon and gave it some glow. The embellishment comes from the blogtrain kit of last year by DB Magnolia. Last year it came to late, so now is the opportunity to use some of it. The font is Christmas Crafter by Creative Fabric.
  13. I have registered too! Of course I have and some of you will know that I always have made my own cards one way or the other. I started doing so by using paper and pencils, cutting out embellishments and glueing them on etc. But now in the digital world I make my cards on the computer. I started with Data Becker that no longer exists. After a couple of years I bought my first PSP and from there on the rest is history. I always use my own photos, often of flowers and make my cards from scratch or use a template. I find it very rewarding that I can create cards that are special for the recipients. A couple of years ago I had handsurgery and was in a cast for 2 months, so I couldn't make my X-mascards as usual. My family and friends understood but were, a year later, very happy to get their cards again!
