  1. I love the red lips and the tiny splashes of red! It just makes a lot of difference.
  2. Nothing fancy this time, I just finished making an Eastercard with a stencil. I recently bought PSP2023 and it took a while before everything was installed and customized to my liking. Then I decided to do a "spring clean" of all my files and supplies, because it had become messy in places. Now I finished cleaning (not my hobby btw) and I'm ready to go for the next Workshops. I was already working on the stencil and put it on a card from the Card Workshop, the backgrund is made of 2 papers with the blendmode set to overlay. The grass is from my stash just as the egg, and the lace wrap was a freebie by Carole.
  3. Anne thank you. Surprisingly it is not that much work, all the eggs are initially vectors that you can make bigger or smaller with the pick tool. So I made the big egg and 1 little egg that I duplicated as many times as I wanted to have eggs, then rotated them or made them bigger or smaller. When I had them all arranged it was just filling them. The set-up of psp is a lot more work, but I'm getting there. I already had a quick look around and that you can directly see what the blendmodes do on the layers is a big plus as I use blendmodes so often. The frametool needs more exploring.
  4. Susan I don't know which version of PSP you are currently using but if it is 2021 or 2022 you can easely upsize with the AI mode as needed. I use it often and like the results
  5. I just read that the Diamond members are getting new masks, so I'm pretty exicted!!!! Carole thank you so much for making the Workshop attractive for all of us!
  6. Well here is my promised Easteregg as a stencil. I'm going to use it on a card, but I have time enough to do so later. I'm not completely finished with customizing and exploring my new PSP 2023, but I wanted to finished this one first. The little eggs inside the big one come mostly from my stash and some came from Carole as freebies and some I just colored. I think the bunny was a freebie by CF some time ago
  7. Susan this looks great and the stencil with words is next on my list to give it a try and thanks to you I know now that I have to be careful in selecting the font to use!
  8. Sue very nice, but now I almost don't dare to show - when finished - the one I'm currently working on because I had a quite similar idea for an easter stencil! Today I just bought PSP2023 so I'm still in the proces of customizing it, not everything goes automatic. Once that is finished to my satisfaction I'll resume my easteregg.?
  9. I often use one of my photos as a background, but mostly with an effect, a blur etc. Here is no effect on the photo other then a reduced opacity and one flower with 100% opacity and a little frame. There is a glassframe round the whole page done with a script that I found somewhere. The only other element is a tag with the name of the flower on it. The font used is Winter Vibes, a freebie from CF. The photo of the hyacinth was taken a couple of days ago, not outside but in my living where I have a container with 3 hyacinths in it. You can buy this specially prepared bulbs for indoor use everywhere in this time of the year. I wish I could incorporate the smell, because my whole room smells delicious!
  10. I'll be here too, this workshop is one of my favorites! It will be great to rehearse what I have learned before and be more creative with those masks.
  11. Another great use of the stencil tutorial in Lab 13-01!
  12. Julie you did a lovely layout for your family and like you I don't have parents or aunts and uncles anymore. When you grow older this is suppost to happen but I still feel a bit lost without them. Luckely I still have 2 nieces to recall old memories with.
  13. I like the idea to make a stencil, so here is my go on it. I used this lovely owls, which were a freebie by CF a couple of days ago. The colors are taken from the owls and I have saved a version of this layout without the background color to probably use on a card. Next I try the Happy Birthday stencil too and also for use on a card because it is another way to do this.
  14. We moved to our recent house almost 6 years ago and are still changing little things that become inconvenient after a while. Recently we bought a new washing machine because the old one was beyond repair and we had to alter the cupboard space otherwise the door of the new appliance couldn't be opened. The new one had other dimensions as the old, as did all the ones we looked at.?
  15. J = Journal, starting a new one each year
  16. I have posted my page in the gallery, but until now I'm the first, so is it all right to post here too? Here it is easier to tell about the layout. For me it wasn't difficult to find something with the word Start because I happened to have read about the "start of the tulp season" in the newspaper of last saterday. A couple of hours later I saw what this week's challenge was about. Then it was just a matter of finding a photo in my collection. Normally I don't use bright colors, but tulips tend to have those, although there pastel ones too. In the flower cornerpunches there is one that has a tulip, so a must to use for this layout! IWAS (InternationalWordArtStudio) has free date labels in many colors.
  17. Word Challenge january 2023 using the word START
  18. Susan, very nice! That masterclass on Numbers is a useful one if needed
  19. C = Calendar, time to hang a new one on the wall
