  1. @cindy harris Great tribute to your mother. I see you might have enlarged the pink heart, which makes them blurred. @Gerry Landreth That is a cute story about Lynda and Rudy. I would have assumed that Lynda would have perceived the vibrations of your arrival, but I guess Rudy could have helped!
  2. Oh, those are cute! Especially the ones on Pinterest!
  3. @Sharla Simple paper is totally fine. That theme will be an interesting one. @Susan Ewart I'll see if I can move the image for you in the gallery (I have never done it yet) @Gerry Landreth I didn't know Linda meant beautiful in Spanish. I didn't even know it was Spanish! Beautiful tribute. That cookie looks yummy! @Randy Using a shadow as a frame is interesting. For best visibility, you should then use it at 100% opacity. I'll check the Frame tool on my 2022. I didn't think you would use it in this project. @Anne Lamp I would go a little less on the shadows, especially on the title. As a rule of thumb, if you have a font with fine lines, a shadow needs to have less offset, so there won't be a visible "gap" between those fine lines and the shadow (which would make it look like it is hovering over the paper). That photo is stunning. Will we have more cam photos? OK, tomorrow, you will get the second project to do. If you have not finished the first one, don't worry. You can still catch up!
  4. @Corrie Giesen Welcome to the Bootcamp. Looking forward to seeing your projects. @Ann Seeber Great page. May I be very picky? If you look at the shadows inside the flowers, they indicate a light coming from the top right, while all yours are from the top left. To be consistent, you would need to mirror those flowers. Do you see that? @Anne Burgess That is a cute layout! Somehow, I always thought that PSP refused to handle images of currencies. If you have not finished your first project, don't worry, you still have all day tomorrow to work on it.
  5. @Susan Ewart For the Screenshot, it depends on what you set as a trigger (I set it to use the PrintScreen key). You can set it to take a screenshot after X seconds so you don't have to use a key. I have to admit it is not very intuitive! ? Unless I need the cursor on my screenshot, I still use the PrintScreen and then paste it as a new image (shh... don't tell Corel/Alludo!). I do relate to that smaller slice of bread! Good one! @Randy That is interesting about the Instant Effects. It is something I never use so I forgot there was a palette for it! The shortcut to copy the Sandwich is a good one, however, one has to be careful because you can't change your sandwich anymore at that point since it "copy MERGE". I also use that shortcut, but not all the time. @Ann Seeber You are someone who needs her phone while eating? ? Nice book by the way. @Sharla Do you have an open-face sandwich or have just not finished it? Nice striped tablecloth. @Anne Burgess You made it. I told you you would! Now, it is time to eat that sandwich! @Anne Lamp That is a fun sandwich (and table set). I see you used various additional techniques! great work. @cindy harris Someone else watching a screen while eating! But it is ok, as you are watching the Campus. Cindy, I have to say I am very impressed by your exercise. I do remember your very first one. Do you remember? You struggled so much and were discouraged. This time, you even customized the whole setup, and all on your own!!! Kudos!! If you have not posted your sandwich, don't delay too long. We are all hungry... for a good story. Tomorrow, you will have your "real" project to work on. Don't panic, you will have two days to work on it. If you started late, just jump in when you can. You will surely have time to catch up.
  6. Kids do a lot of crafts for their parents and grandparents, whether it is for Mother's Day, Christmas, Easter, etc. What kind of crafts have your kids come home with to give you as a present?
  7. Welcome to the Bootcamp, @Ann Seeber, @Susan Ewart, @Anne Lamp, @cindy harris. @Susan Ewart That is a great shot. Do you use a zoom lens? @Ann Seeber Those wisteria are fantastic. If you tweak the photo a little, you can brighten those colors even more! Who else is planning to participate in this Bootcamp? Just come and say hi!
  8. The right place for what? The bootcamp? If you are looking for the bootcamp, it is HERE.
  9. Very very odd. It is the correct link on my copy of the email and even if I go in the email builder directly, it is the correct link too.
  10. That is strange. It works fine for me. Hum...
  11. Glad to see you back in the Campus. Woohoo!!!!
  12. Learning scrapbooking is often done with practice, looking around for inspiration and trying to recreate projects we admire. This challenge will give you an opportunity to personalize a project while trying to "copy" another one. Of course, you will change the title, the text, and the photos, but you will want to try to replicate the arrangements and some of the effects you see. It is a challenge but in the end, you will learn more about scrapbooking and your PaintShop Pro. In honor of Mother's Day (at least in North America), here is a simple layout you will want to "scraplift". Although this layout was made in a rectangular format, you can easily use the basics in a square format. The translation for this says "Germain Handfield-Chauvette held, in her arms, three generations". And if you want more information on "scraplifting", check out this article.
  13. And how long did that take you? ?
  14. Hum... I'll have to check but I might have an edited version of the script that would convert it automatically! Good catch!
  15. If the compatibility is changed, it is likely when you used a script that does save files, like Open a copy for example. Very few scripts will use a Save as... command, but if it does, the compatibility has to be set to older versions of PSP in order for users of those versions to use the script. If you find out what script you used that caused that, let me know and I can tweak it for you.
  16. What have you found that has decorated a tree trunk? Have you ever seen a gnome or fairy house? Share some links. I am looking for more ideas.
  17. Wow! even I am surprised!!!
  18. @Suzy To avoid panic, I can tell you that there are ONLY 3 sites of mine related to PSP. I do wish they were all in one place but as you might have remembered, the history goes like this: in February 2008, I started selling scripts in consignment stores (Do It Digi was the first one). Over the years, they all closed. in October 2008, I built the blog in order to "promote" my new releases and share freebies in February 2009, I built my own site and loaded it with about 25 scripts. That happened to be on a different platform than the blog. in December 2009, I made a basic PSP course and was hosting it in a friend's forum, but she was ill and it only lasted about a year before she dropped the hosting and domain. In February 2011, I decided to go ahead and build my own site to share my tutorials. I was barely familiar with Wordpress (since that is what I used the blog) but it needed to be its own entity, and not an extension of the blog or the store. It took me about 6 months to build it, upload the videos, and set it up like a basic membership. In September 2011, I opened up the Campus to new members (two of them are still with us!) Obviously, over those years, all the sites have had content added every week or so. That is almost 15 years of content! I suspect I might have more PSP/scrapbooking content than the Corel site (but don't tell them!). So yes, you should have plenty to still discover and download! ?
  19. It might show more on a full-size. We know how it loses some definition when resizing! ?
  20. I have the gnome house to work on after the green room!
  21. But there was the April class!
  22. Hide your mouse!
  23. The Campus is the perfect place to learn more about photo editing, various techniques, or PSP in general. This challenge will give you an opportunity to practice some of those techniques or use some tools. This time, the Tut/Tech Challenge will be to create a preset shape for a tag. Of course, you can create something simple, but it would be a great opportunity to practice what was shown in the April and May Master Classes. Show the tag shape, but if you can use it in a project, it is even better. Show us what you learned.
  24. U = Unconditional Love
  25. Following Bonnie's suggestion, I have added some gardening tools, a bag of soil, and the seed packets (the coin is for scale). Also, since she has had a knitting project for a while, I figured I could add some wool in a box. Finally, I have added some more details. Can you spot them? It is still not completely finished. I also have two hanging plants that are not in the scene yet. The shelf is not glued yet so nothing is stable! If I sneeze, it all tumbles down!
