  1. This year has been quite challenging for me. I think I mentioned on here before that I had developed a horrible bout of Vertigo just after the New Year. The dizziness, spinning and double vision subsided by mid March but left me with a fairly common but nasty side effect of feeling wobbly and unstable. There were times I did not want to do anything with PSP, especially if it involved me having to concentrate more than usual. Lately, I am doing more things even if it's quite challenging and giving me a bit of brain fog too. An MRI was clear, my eye health is fine and awaiting an ENT appointment. Sitting down is fine, it is the walking that I am unsteady. Anyway, I did not mean this to be a moan fest, just to say why I have not been as involved with here and PSP in general. However, I have really enjoyed this challenge of changing a dingbat font into a shape (using a script by Susie Shook) and then colouring them in and using all sorts of techniques, as taught by Carole and a fur plugin on the cat. I have put them onto one layer and will use them to compose a Christmas greeting for those friends and family I don't see through out the year. I notice I have used a different Dingbat font than the one Carole suggests. Told you I had brain fog. Anyway, hope you like them. x Forgot to say the Dingbat font was called Fox Christmas Doodle.

  2. Carol can you mention about that we can't right click and move a selection and how to work around that. I dont have good words to say it right. Thank you.

  3. Wrapped text gets unwrapped It might not always happen but once you have added wrapped text into a selection, when you edit the text afterward, it might loose its "wrapping" and go back to a straight text with no way to put it back in its shape.

  4. We have concluded that PSP2023 will be the last version developed by Corel/Alludo. Unfortunately, it also means that the existing bugs might not be fixed. Let's make a list of the bugs you have experienced so far. As a beta-tester, I saw several reports of bugs but not all of them are consistent or affecting everyone. To start, make sure you have the latest patch for it, and the number is 25.2.0.58. If you happen to have version 25.1.0.28, you will HAVE to uninstall your PSP and reinstall it from scratch as that particular version will NOT upgrade to the correct version; it is kind of "stuck" there. Don't report bugs for that older version: they are very serious and were fixed in the upgrade. To make it easier to read and refer to, indicate, in bold, a name for the tool/effect/function, then describe the issue you are encountering. If they are actual bugs, I will leave them there. If they are just technical issues that should be troubleshoot, I will remove them from the thread into their own thread so we can address them separately.

  5. Thank you Julie, very interesting and somewhat funny to see that the first photo is taken in my country! When that photo was taken there were still many people wearing traditional costume but nowadays only a handful, or just as tourist attraction where you have to pay for taking a photo.

  6. Thank you Michele. I know in the scheme of things it is nothing compared to what some poor folk are going through but it is so debilitating and restrictive. Hope next year will be better for everyone. All good Christmas wishes to you and yours.

  8. Selecting multiple layers If you select multiple layers in the Layers palette, holding the Ctrl key, sometimes, additional layers will get selected and not just the ones you want.
