  1. Here's my birthday wishes for the Master of Scrapbook Campus. Thank you for all you do, and for the sale we get! The circumflex over the "e" in Fete is missing, sorry!

  2. Before: After: Done very quickly. I'm sure I could do better with a little more effort. I also removed an age spot from my forehead. 🙂

  4. I'm going to follow Mary's lead on this challenge. This little beauty showed up this morning, he immediately reminded me of Ann, and the page which she posted. Last Autumn I had dozens of them, but then they weren't in their Spring attire. A handsome Spring male Myrtle Warbler. The tools that you would use to remove glare in glasses can also be used in other projects, which is what I did here. I used the clone tool to clone the bird to open grassy space in the main photo. I also cloned out the bird poop on the wood. I promoted to a new layer. Created a mask to remove any details that I had missed. Copied a section of the grass area, paste as a new image. Edited the background. Copy and paste the bird onto the edited grass. I decided to frame it. I have included the original photo which eables you to see what I did.

  5. Awesome! I love it. I don't know over which e the circumflex goes, but most fonts will have these symbols and more, to retrieve them go to character map.

  7. Simple STUNNING Julie. You got that right, when it comes to color, Mother Nature never gets it wrong.

  8. I use the scratch removable tool to remove wires from pictures. This is an example. I also played with glass texture on the one on which I had removed the wires.

  9. Thanks Sue. I did learn that in the last Q&A, but I had done the layout previously without the mark, changed the text to Raster, saved the layout, and was in too much of a hurry to change it before posting.

  10. You did a grand job removing the cables. I find the scratch remover is a very handy tool.

  11. I don't find it distasteful or cruel. the Natural world works to keep it self in balance. Your images are interesting and the experience of seeing this must be surreal.

  12. I couldn't resist doing a showcase for this woman's fabulous art. And here's a Gift Link to the article, no subscription needed.

  13. I'm just impressed at how many birds, mammals and insects (anything crawly and/or winged) that I wouldnt know if a mistake had been made. I bet they two look very similar.

  14. After the chat on here about the Block Photo (Sue Thomas) and a beautiful example of it, I watched the tutorial and came up with this layout. I had the red-eyed tree frog photo (from Steve Biro) as the inspiration. I looked up others online to get some other colourful critters. Nature is astonishing, whether in her delicacy, her brutality (those hawks!), or her rainbow of colours in the flora and fauna. The most flamboyant of those creatures live in tropical climes, and I have an awe for their dazzling displays, especially since our birds, insects, etc. tend to more subdued hues. The other critters in this layout are Madagascan Sunset Moth, Orchid Mantis, and Rosy Pelican.

  15. Every Wednesday a group of women pickleball players meet after playing pickleball and have lunch together. After that we play table games...usually something different each week. Overall, it is the group that traveled to a pickleball clinic in January and we have a trip planned for March, 2025. Now you know why there are pickleballs in a layout for table games.

  16. South Carolina is my home state...born and raised there. The University of South Carolina has seldom done well in sports but our women's basketball team has done very well. They won the national championship for the third time in 2024 and they are undefeated in the 2024 season. Needless to say, this season was outstanding for our fams. Dawn Staley is the coach and she does not refer to spectators as fans...they are fams...and the atmosphere feels like family. 2024 was a big year for women's basketball everywhere. The women's games were drew more spectators than the men's games (National Championship) and tickets for the women's games demanded and received a higher price. All of this is huge for women's sports!
