  2. There is a "square" challenge over in PSP Maniacs and this is what I made. The music note background paper and the people are from Creative Fabrica. The definition was from Wikipedia. I tried to get one song from each decade since the 40s, and the crossed out ones from this year.

  3. I had this photo from a friend and decided to display it this way. She gave it the title.

  4. Some scripts were not so bad, but one thing that was missing was all the dialog windows, which meant that you had no more options to choose colors, text, etc. which is much of my signature: giving options to users. Right now, if any script seems "not quite right", reach out so I can help. And in some rare cases, (like for the 25.1.0.28) it could be a sign of a major bug! So I appreciate such reports!

  5. This is my take on the Bingo Challenge. My papers and elements except the tapes - they are from CP Jessica Dunn.

  6. This is a family history website illustration for a calendar and features the Heart Candies script. The script is simple but seems to run slower the more times it is used in a session (I think that is a PSP memory management issue). The original captions in the script were OK and I made some of those, however, my idea needed different words so I went under the hood into the script and it was so easy to change the words and Save As a new script. This way I made the boys names in blue and the girls names in pink... stereotyping I know but the colours persistently code lines in genealogy! The tray was then made using heart and arrow shapes with a metallic look and heavy Inner Bevel to make it look like blown plastic. This was then turned into a box and the perspective tilted backwards. The box lid, with a ribbon heart on the front, went through a similar process, but was distorted free hand. The card was added using a font that was free via Corel's website this week. Finally, the plush background added. Warm, red and shmaltzy. This image will come up through automated rotation only on 13/14 February on my website www.dowlingfamily.info. Other products used in this image: Plush (for the carpet texture); Preview Box (for the candies box and lid); Brushed Metal (for the tray texture); Ribbon Heart ; Distresses Edge (on the inside of the newspaper frame); Gemstone (used around the logo).

  7. I love all of Cassel's punch brushes, but I just got the new Edge Punches - B - PSP Brushes. I couldn't wait to try them out and I didn't have a project, but I certainly had some fun just playing around!

  8. so, DH Rob (darling husband Rob) and I was out in the backyard and we were looking at what part of the Mountain Ash is dead and what is still alive (that we would keep, because I love it and because it's a bird favorite and part of the squirrel highway to the next yard). I told him about the bug hotel and he was like, no problem. I guess after 35+ yrs together, he just goes with the flow. Gotta love it.

  9. @Ann Seeber It does not look that little for a cabin. It looks GREAT!!! @MoniqueN. You are right: a script font would not be too suitable to replace one letter in a word! @Anne Lamp You should contact the site that offers those video streamings. They might be interested in what you did with those photos. The result is stunning. Hard to believe it is from videos as the images are so clear! @Gerry Landreth I love the font you used for the text. It is easy to read, despite being even in height (which is not always the case). @Susan Ewart Your story made me smile. My husband LOVES the Madagascar penguins short and when we would watch a movie, he ALWAYS wanted to watch the Madagascar penguins first. EVERY TIME!!! You are just missing Ricco! @Sharla Great finale to the bootcamp. I bet you can continue and create more pages on the same theme! @Randy I am glad you enjoyed the bootcamp. To answer your question about snap to guide, did you make sure you didn't "snap to grid" instead of "snap to guide"? If you have the correct ones checked, remember that it acts like a magnet: there is a point where it won't snap anymore if it is too far (you can change that value too if needed). BTW, too bad I might be in Fredericton that weekend! ? @Anne Burgess Great work. You know, if you are using paint spatters, you don't need to add shadows to them as they would be completely flat on paper. If you have not posted your projects, maybe you still worked on them on your own. Don't be shy. Share them! You still have time.
