  1. Also, I have stopped adding to this topic as the images have been dropped from my previous posts, which I only noticed after adding this one. Perhaps they are not Scrapbooky enough.
  2. Thanks. Some script lines are gobbledegook to me but the parts to change are very obvious in this script. You could, for example, make an Alpha. These particular heart candies are not so recognisable in the UK. Our sweet shops have "Love Hearts" which are thinner and come in a paper tube but they do have the short sentiments on them... they are hard, very sweet and in pastel colours with red text in a red heart... They now make a fizzy drink of the flavour!
  3. This is a family history website illustration for a calendar and features the Heart Candies script. The script is simple but seems to run slower the more times it is used in a session (I think that is a PSP memory management issue). The original captions in the script were OK and I made some of those, however, my idea needed different words so I went under the hood into the script and it was so easy to change the words and Save As a new script. This way I made the boys names in blue and the girls names in pink... stereotyping I know but the colours persistently code lines in genealogy! The tray was then made using heart and arrow shapes with a metallic look and heavy Inner Bevel to make it look like blown plastic. This was then turned into a box and the perspective tilted backwards. The box lid, with a ribbon heart on the front, went through a similar process, but was distorted free hand. The card was added using a font that was free via Corel's website this week. Finally, the plush background added. Warm, red and shmaltzy. This image will come up through automated rotation only on 13/14 February on my website www.dowlingfamily.info. Other products used in this image: Plush (for the carpet texture); Preview Box (for the candies box and lid); Brushed Metal (for the tray texture); Ribbon Heart ; Distresses Edge (on the inside of the newspaper frame); Gemstone (used around the logo).
