April Palette Challenge. Created the little flowers for the background paper (pattern, flood fill). Background paper overlays, blend modes, and colours, using several layers. Replicating colours from the photos. Some of the first things I learnt to create were the eyelets and stitching, when I first joined the campus. Due to adding noise, and textures some colours have have changed slightly. Some flower pics I have taken on one of my trips home.

I opened a blank square page, flood filled it with the blue, opened a new raster layer then used a not solid brush to make blobs of the other colors all over the page. From there I played with the kaleidoscope until I got something I liked. With that I used the pattern to make this.

Nice layout. Thanks for telling why the face is blurred out. I don't blame them, I refuse to post hardly any of my family's children's photos and very few of the adult ones on the internet. I know their pictures are all over the place becaus everyone else in the family post them.

My son and his girlfriend don't want their daughter (my granddaughter) on the internet, so I had to blur her? I changed the photo with Adobe capture in a line drawing. All the other elements are from kits in my stash, mostly from pixelscrapper.? Edit: (I removed the project, it didn't feel right somehow)

Found the eggs. Email sent. Lots of fun.

Ok. Here is the finished version...a brush, not a Tube, which I wasn't expecting.

But it looks interesting nevertheless!

I tried the search Feature on the BLOG but I got the message that this is a High Spam Risk Network! Remember Cassel that I sent you an email that some of your emails are coming into my spam folder. Ooops! I did add a bevel and a shadow! Because, why not? extra practice.

An Easter card. The daffodils and leaves were extracted from photos of daffodils in my yard. Bow is a Cassel bow. I made the plaid and the letters are from my kit altered to change stroke and fill.

Happy April! Here's my monthly Wild Cat Calendar featuring an unusual cat from Central Asia. I posted the full JPG in the FILES section of our Facebook group. It will print out at 11" x 8.5" landscape. I used Hard Light on the map of central Asia under the calendar format and was pleased with the result. These Pallas cats are about the same size as a domestic house cat but with short legs and long hair. I love their comical expression.
