Ann Seeber Posted November 16, 2021 Posted November 16, 2021 Here is Project 2 of the Busy Busy class, "The Wedding Singers." I changed some of the papers for something more suited to a wedding. I also added a frame. Pictured are my daughter, Laurey, mother of the Bride, and Jackie, the Bride. :-) 1
Bonnie Ballentine Posted November 16, 2021 Posted November 16, 2021 Template 50, Lady 22, AKA, Bourico Casper. Penny often lies on her back/sleeps on her back. She really knows how to relax. 1
Ann Seeber Posted November 17, 2021 Posted November 17, 2021 Nice, Bonnie! Lady 22 has interesting templates. Your kitty reminds me of my girl, Eve. ;-) 1
Bonnie Ballentine Posted November 17, 2021 Posted November 17, 2021 Looks like Eve likes to lie on her back too! 1
Sue Thomas Posted November 20, 2021 Posted November 20, 2021 I see that November is another busy month in the campus, so many wonderful creations. A little something I created yesterday. 1
Mary Solaas Posted November 20, 2021 Posted November 20, 2021 Beautiful, Sue - well done (as usual) I can't seem to stop playing. Created the template for this LO, but changed it up. Originally the triple picture was in the bottom right corner and had 8 pictures in picture all connected in the bottom right corner. For this LO, I didn't like that and so only used the 3 last pictures and then put each of them in different locations until I came up with this. Played around with different backgrounds, but settled on one from PS-Jessica Dunn and reduced the opacity and color tinted it to make it colder. The font is AR Berkley; the snowflake is from PS-Gina Jones and the snowman is from PS-Rachel Martin. I played around with shadows again - this time I had just slight shadows with the color of the shadows a medium grey. Only shadowed the bottom picture. I've been playing around with both PSP2021 Ultimate and Video Studio 2020 Ultimate, but gave myself a Christmas and birthday present yesterday and today and couldn't resist the prices on PSP 2022 Ultimate, Video Studio 2021 Ultimate and the full version of Photo Mirage (which I may be able to use in Video Studio. 1
Lynda DiGregor Posted November 20, 2021 Posted November 20, 2021 We are in Nevada visiting with my sister and the two of us took a little ride to the California border to get lottery tickets (no, didn't win). I did take a few photos of Death Valley Junction which is an historic site that has 4 residents. Interesting history! This is from the latest lab 11-11, used Cassel's flip it up and clip to it scrips and layout by Lovemygirl 1

Ann Seeber Posted November 21, 2021 Posted November 21, 2021 I've been using this as my desktop image for the month of November. Cassel/Carole: Is this desktop calendar set available for 2022? 1
Cassel Posted November 21, 2021 Author Posted November 21, 2021 Ann, I am not sure what you mean. Did you join the Up-to-Date challenge last month? All the months were for 2022. Or maybe I misunderstand your question? 1
Ann Seeber Posted November 21, 2021 Posted November 21, 2021 Carole/Cassel: I'm not sure where I acquired the desktop size calendar for 2021 that I posted above for November. The template file has all the months. This was in addition to the Up-To-Date Calendar which is larger and vertical. The desktop full size is only 1250 x 759 which is perfect for my monitor. I just looked in my Calendar Templates folder and found this for 2022, though it is kinda large, I can resize it. It doesn't have the boxes to mark up like the Desktop one does. Just thinking about it, I may be able to revise the dates in 2021 for 2022, hopefully, because I like its format better. 1
Cassel Posted November 21, 2021 Author Posted November 21, 2021 For the Up-to-Date challenge, although the whole page is larger, the dates and the boxes are smaller. You can copy and paste those dates and boxes onto another image and if it is still too large, you can size them down by a % so both would be similar and you can resize all the other months by the same % and everything will be even. Would that work? 1
Ann Seeber Posted November 21, 2021 Posted November 21, 2021 Carole/Cassel: Sounds like a good idea. I will try it out and let you know how I make out. Thanks! 1
Bonnie Ballentine Posted November 21, 2021 Posted November 21, 2021 Ann, I think both calendar templates were given by Corel. 1
MoniqueN. Posted November 21, 2021 Posted November 21, 2021 This was a sketch from september, but didn't have time to work on it..........but it's finished now :) Translation of the Dutch text": The monastery was built in the 15th century and now serves as a monastery museum and museum of religious art. The first time we came there was actually by accident.. To get to know the province, where we had just moved to, better, we regularly toured by car. At one point I saw something through the trees that seemed very old. We turned around and we were immediately impressed by the beautiful building. Of course we also went inside and that was also impressive. Edit: I'm looking at the project with Irfanview instead of PSP and are the shadows for the papers too dark? 1
Sue Thomas Posted November 24, 2021 Posted November 24, 2021 While getting dressed to go outside this morning, and putting my bobble cap on, an idea came to mind, so while having lunch I had a little play on PSP. I created a Santa hat tag, to be used in a project. I think I could have made the red hat a little deeper, but on the whole I was quite pleased with it. I already had the fibre brush in my brushes, which I created many years ago. Using the tutorial, plush fibre in the creative scrap. I decided not to add shadows, as I noticed that the tags I have and have seen online, don't have shadows, same goes for magazines. Any ideas for other tag designs would be gratefully received. 1
Susan Ewart Posted November 24, 2021 Posted November 24, 2021 Ideas for tag shapes for you Sue. Bell (not the jingle kind, the Liberty bell kind), snowman, tree, ball ornament, angel, snowglobe. 1
Sue Thomas Posted November 24, 2021 Posted November 24, 2021 You know Susan, I tend to associate those shapes more with Xmas decorations, than tags, but there isn't any reason why they can't be tag shapes. Thank you. 1
Sue Thomas Posted November 27, 2021 Posted November 27, 2021 Another month is drawing to a close, I thought I had better post a few projects that I have done, before December begins. Word art tree, this time the 12 days of Christmas. 1
Sue Thomas Posted November 27, 2021 Posted November 27, 2021 If only you knew the lengths I had to go too, to get this shot. Once I spotted them in the distance, I dropped to the ground, and crawled ever so slowly, and quietly, until I was close enough to get a shot, without disturbing them. I took my shot, and retreated, leaving them as I found them. It isn't a proper scrap page, but I did use a few techniques, adjustment layers, twisted rope, my own tag, frame, text, and a png swirl to frame the text. I included the tag, for better visibility to read. 1
Ann Seeber Posted November 30, 2021 Posted November 30, 2021 The tropical fish Facebook group called Aquarium Antics put out a call for a holiday header contest so I submitted this. The background art is from a site that offers free wallpapers and I just added the word in Showcard Gothic font filled with a gold gradient 1
