Karon Dey
Thanks Annie. Yes, I am. When I did my granddaughter's prom book every page was with blended overlays. She loved it; but I think she and her friends had more fun looking for the spider I put on each page. LOL.

Minka
After Carole's class last night I did a search on my computer --and all the externals-- to find any Overlays lurking in there! Wow ... I found a lot of them. So was playing around with another of the OBX vacation photos to a place called Beachy Color to try a couple out. Loads of fun to play with. I encourage anyone that didn't attend the class to watch it when she gets it uploaded here.

Annie Tobin
Played around with this one today using the freebie scrapkit that Carole gave us the link to in the Love Story Challenge. The layout is by Cytisia with quite a few additions on my part. The photo is from Unsplash and was taken by Victoria Priessnitz. Thanks for takin a peek my friends. :)
Ann Seeber
Annie: I like how the black and white photo works with the subtle colors of your design. Very nice! (Why does French make it more Romantic? ;-) )
Ann Seeber
Working with masks in Lesson 2 of the February Love Story Challenge. Here's an interesting bird. We also learned how to make a plaid paper to match the layout. Photos by Ed Frampton of Poughkeepsie, NY
Annie Tobin
Thanks Ann. The French always did claim to be the world's lovers extraordinaire ... perhaps we have been brainwashed, lol!
Annie Tobin
Oh I do love your black vultures Ann. What an ugly/handsome bird, quite amazing. As I get older I see more beauty than ugly ... just goes to prove there can be beauty found in almost anything. Enjoyed perusing Ann and your plaid is lovely and matches perfectly ... well done. ;D

Karon Dey
Annie: "Love" is a stunning layout. The light pastel background is perfect for the b/w photo.
Karon Dey
Ann: Nice take on the Love Story challenge and great job on the plaid background. I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder and I am sure another vulture would find him most attractive.
Annie Tobin
Thanks very much Karon ... I really do enjoy playing with masks and there are so many different ways. I especially like using templates and converting them to masks ... most likely because I have trillions of templates, LOL! ;)

Ann Seeber
Just wanted to share that I just got an email from Marisa Lerin from Pixel Scrappers that they are trying out offering individual kits for sale without a subscription! This is good news for me. Hooray! :-)

James Durrant
I started work on this when the local Music Festival had been cancelled and the farm organising it still built 2 'Bears' out of straw bails. 9but painted tears on the faces). They usually build a full band of Bale Bears each about 16foot high that can be seen when driving past. I used some of the picture tubes supplied with PSP , Barbecue, Instruments, Musical Notes & Musicalshaft. An overlay from Corel Video Studio and a Callout from preset Shapes added the news flash and comment. I have tried to make a Gradient changebfrom the Grass to the Paper with the musical shaft but am not happy with the result, and have now spotted a spelling mistake after converting the text to a raster. Ann Seeber
Picked up some fun Valentine's Coloring Pages from the Corel Freebies. It is a bit psychedelic! I don't believe how fussy I was with this! ;-)
Annie Tobin
James, this is such a cute page and the bears are craftily crafted, I love it. Shame about the cancellations but as you have said, maybe next year.
Annie Tobin
Wow Ann! What gorgeous colouring in my friend. Now that must have taken some patience. Hats off to ya! ;D
