Cassel Posted February 1 Posted February 1 he theme for February is WEDDING. Weddings are timeless events filled with love, celebration, and cherished memories. Whether it's your own wedding, a friend's special day, or a family gathering, there are bound to be photos or stories worth sharing. You might have some beautiful snapshots of the couple, the venue, the décor, or even funny or touching moments. And if you don’t have personal photos, you can always tell a story and complement it with stock images or symbolic elements like rings, flowers, or a wedding cake. Remember that you can also share older layouts you already made. You don't have to create a brand new one! Let's go! Post your project in the gallery.
Ann Seeber Posted February 1 Posted February 1 One of the outstanding weddings I documented was my granddaughter Jackie and hubby Corey. It looks like I used bootcamp layouts! LOL 5
Corrie Kinkel Posted February 1 Posted February 1 @Ann Seeber I remember seeing these layouts and they were very nice at that time and they are still now. Perfect for this theme! 1 1
Rene Marker Posted February 2 Posted February 2 I mentioned in my post about 3D shadows that I had done a layout from a template with those shadows. It was a wedding layout for my cousin's daughter. The template is by Fiddle-Dee-Dee and is part of her Life in 3D series. This template is in set #2. The papers/elements are from Digilicious Designs kits Mr. & Mrs. and Mr. & Mrs. Color Pop. The templates and kits are all available at Sweet Shoppe Designs. 7
Ann Seeber Posted February 2 Posted February 2 Wondering about the weddings in California I found this: One of the first workshops I attended was the Up-To-Date Calendar Workshop and I featured the wedding of my grandson Will & Lucy Lennox in California. I used their wedding photos for Jan-Feb-Mar in 2021 and I've included the cover here for this display. The golden square on the cover was from subsequent months and not wedding oriented. This event was very enjoyable, with the bride arriving by boat and everyone being totally bohemian! 5
Ann Seeber Posted February 2 Posted February 2 I found a layout I did for Ilana's Bridal Shower. The theme was the tv show "Friends" which is her favorite of all time. 4
Anne Lamp Posted February 2 Posted February 2 This is my Husband and I and our parents 55 years ago. 4

Bonnie Ballentine Posted February 3 Posted February 3 I created 6 layouts for this wedding. I'll share one here. The layouts are in the gallery on the last page of my album, page 4. 5
Bonnie Ballentine Posted February 3 Posted February 3 This layout is of a friend's son's wedding. The one above is her daughter's wedding and the first is my hair dressers daughter's wedding. My nephew just married and my niece will marry in August. More material! 🙂 5
Ann Seeber Posted February 3 Posted February 3 I used the cass-gamecard script and a rather unusual bride. 😉 2 2
Corrie Kinkel Posted February 3 Posted February 3 This theme was a real challenge for me. I have a very small family and almost no photos of weddings that I can use. My father came from a big family, but he was the youngest and my parents married when they were in their thirties. Most of my cousins were already married before I was born or soon after. I can't use my own wedding photos because I have promised my husband that I will never use photos of him, our children and grandchildren for my projects. The only family wedding was of my cousin, the daughter of my mother's sister and I have no photos of it. As a solution I used 3 photos of my wedding that have my bouquet, the rings and our hands and only my bouquet is in color. In those days it was still a mix of color photos for the most important part and the rest in black and white. Well it was 53 years ago................ I made my layout using Affinity, the more I use it the better I will remember the steps. I don't know if it is a coincidence that we in the Campus have a wedding theme, because the blogtrain from digitalscrapbook.com has the same theme. It came in handy because it offered some good stuff to use here. To start I used a template from Jessica Dunn, but I changed things and colors to may liking. The flowers came from my stash and I used one of the stamps that came as a freebie with the Campus blogpost about weddings. 4
Ann Seeber Posted February 4 Posted February 4 (edited) I just found this from last February's mask workshop: Dancing at my oldest granddaughter, Anna's, wedding reception in California, showing the bride, new hubby Tj, my late husband, Frank, and myself. The date says Dec. 1, 2012. Edited February 4 by Ann Seeber 4
Ann Seeber Posted February 4 Posted February 4 I found Jackie and Corey's wedding layouts in a Quick Page Workshop! 4

Ann you are so blessed with your family and you made such lovely layouts for all the weddings you were part of. Seeing my own very small family I can't help but being a bit jealous. I'll have to wait for my granddaughters to marry, but they are only just 13 and 15 at the moment. That is if they are going to marry and nowadays that is not always the custom any longer. Besides that I'm not getting any younger!

As a lonely only I didn't know what I was missing! Amazing to go from that to having 9 grands and 5 great-grands! I am truly blessed! 🙏 2
Ann Seeber Posted February 4 Posted February 4 Just found the layouts I did for Ilana & Maverick's wedding and honeymoon. 4
Harmony Birch Posted February 9 Posted February 9 My slightly jaded take on this theme, three times unlucky is enough for me . 3
