I was wondering about file formats for layered creations in Affinity and what about .pspimage files, can they be converted to open in Affinity? For example, I have tons of templates that are layered as .pspimage @Cassel ? 5

PSP can save as .psd and open them. Affinity can export and open .psd. 4 2

Cassel Posted January 10 Author Posted January 10 Those who sent me an email with their permission should now see the trial download in your account on the Affinity site. If anyone else didn't get their "upgraded" trial and wants/needs it, send me an email stating so. Don't just post in this thread as it can easily get lost. Hopefully, that contact person should be able to update all the necessary accounts on Monday. It might delay your start of the Bootcamp by a few hours, unfortunately. 2

Corrie Kinkel Posted January 10 Posted January 10 I too got the emails with the order information and the needed password on installation. I got them an hour and a halve ago but was busy preparing dinner and have just noticed them now. They work fast at Affinity I must say. I'm going to install them later this evening after I have had my after dinner coffee. Again thank you Carole for getting us this trial period and by the way you are building up the suspense for this surprise! 3
Jacques Posted January 10 Posted January 10 I did the installation but the duration remains 7 days!!!

Corrie Kinkel Posted January 10 Posted January 10 Carole I have a problem with the installation, maybe I don't understand what I have to do and I got 3 mails. One is: "Thank you for your order with an order number" It also says This order was placed for you by the Affinity Team. Then there is a download button. Two is: Activation ID and Activation Password and that one will be stored in my Affinity account and it has a Sign in to your account button Three is: Reset your Affinity Password and I have 24 hours to do so. When I click on the download button I get the message password incorrect and whatever I do it says password incorrect. I can go to the normal download site but there you have to buy Affinity. Now I'm very unsure what to do, Jacques could at least do the installation. So please help 2
Cassel Posted January 10 Author Posted January 10 Unfortunately, I don't have access to their backend, and the lady who was helping setting things up is off for the weekend. However, she explained that customer support could help further and they do work over the weekend. "The support team work the weekends to so email corpsupport@serif.com and they will be best placed to advise " At this point, it is the best I can offer if the given instructions are not clear or are not working. Thank you all for your patience and perseverance! 3
Jacques Posted January 10 Posted January 10 Hello, I had some difficulties activating the software because I was not using the right "password" when activating the programs. I was using the one to access the site: do not do this. Use the activation password that you received with the link to download the 90-day trial version. 1
Corrie Kinkel Posted January 10 Posted January 10 Thank you Jacques but that is what I did, when I used the download button in the mail I got a login screen where I was asked for my ID, which is my email and a password. I only have the Activation password and I kept getting the message password incorrect. I assume that in a later moment I will have to make a password for the site as such, because I do not have that. I have sent aan email to the support team as Carole suggested, but it is weekend............ 2

Expand Corrie, the problem might be that you need to have an Affinity account before you can use the download links. Have you created one yet on their site? 3

Had you already made an account? I got a password in this format AAAA-AAAA-AAAA-AAAA and I typed everything in including the hyphens. Now I'm wondering should I have done that? Normally when I have to use let's say my creditcard number that also has whole lot of numbers and while adding that I get them automatically separated. Is that the case here? Have you already installed it? Please let me know how you did it and if you got the 90 days trial as Jacques only got 7 days. Hopefully I hear from their supportdesk soon; otherwise Carol can contact the lady that organized this for us on Monday. 2
