I first used the Vector Spiral script, it is a free one and is in a Featured Resources blogpost quite some time ago. I use it once in a while, sometimes with text or other picture tubes. After making the spiral which already is a path, I made the cutouts and then ran the Vector Tube script with a beads tube in the national colors of the Netherlands. I know I did something similar last year but it was among the things I lost when I had some computer problems earlier this year. This is beautiful, Corrie! Great idea to use the Vector Spiral Script. I am slowly catching up with the comments and all the work posted... They are so inspiring! 1 1 2
Ellen Griffin Posted May 18 Posted May 18 I am ready to start the 2025 class and my biggest issue is actually 'controling' a vector.... thanks! EllenGriffin
Sue Thomas Posted May 18 Posted May 18 (edited) I will be participating in this workshop, as I didn't partake last year. I use vectors for so many things, such as creating templates , subway art in modifying dingbats. The beauty of using vectors is that they are always clean and sharp edges. I won't say that I am proficiently competent in using them, but I am confident in using them. I am looking forward to the vector workshop using Affinity. One is never to old to learn anything new. Jeni Simpson Posted May 18 Posted May 18 I am ready to get this one under my belt again and do the Affinity vector workshop too. I am not confident with vectors, and when wanting to create something using them, I still need to go back to the instructions. 1
Corrie Kinkel Posted May 18 Posted May 18 I pass on this one but will participate in the one for Affinity. I am looking forward to learn about vectors for Affinity, something completely new to me. 3

I am looking forward to learn about vectors for Affinity, something completely new to me. As am I! I have been dabbling with vectors in Affinity, already I am finding the Affinity vectors are far more user friendly than they are in PSP. I will let my Affinity knowledge grow through Carole's tutorials, rather than search for tutorials online. I tend to find that once I have watched one of Carole's tutorials, they allow me to expand my knowledge through trail and error. As I tend to remember things better by actually doing something myself. I also prefer to learn a technique through repetition, once mastered, I can then move onto the next technique. 3
Mary Solaas Posted May 18 Posted May 18 I'm continuing to stick with PSP. I participated last year and really enjoyed it so much. So, I'm looking forward to doing it again this year and maybe try my hand at some new things. 3
Susan Ewart Posted May 18 Posted May 18 I'm in with PSP too! I can always use (read: need!) the extra practice. 3
