I am providing you with a card with 24 elements that can be included in a layout. You can make a bingo by using any element in a straight line that would make a bingo, whether it is a horizontal line, a vertical line, or a diagonal line. That means that you have to include 5 (or only 4 if you use the FREE in the center) elements in your layout. Of course, you can have more than one bingo if you want to create more than one layout.
Once you post your layout, tell us what 4-5 elements from the Bingo card you are using (it is just easier for everyone to check on you! ? )
So, here is your card, for June 2025.
If you are a DIAMOND member and want to create those elements, you are more than welcome. All the elements listed have a tutorial inside the membership. If you don't have access to those tutorials, or if you don't want to do anything from scratch, you can also use ready-made elements. There is no rule for or against that.
The only rule: have fun and be creative!
The idea of one photo a week was quite popular in 2024, and it encouraged participants to take photos and showcase them without having to create a whole layout for them.
In 2025, I will offer you a little twist on this. Again, the idea is only to showcase a single photo at a time. You can showcase them as a flashcard, emphasizing the letter (you can use these free cards as a basis to create your own). Of course, if you want a different format, you can use a polaroid frame, a slide, or a playing card (like Susan was doing in 2024). Choose the format you want, and keep it throughout the year. But just make sure to emphasize the first letter!
Every 2 weeks, you will be asked to take a picture of something, at home (or around your home) that starts with a specific letter of the alphabet. The goal is just to be on the lookout for ANYTHING that can be photographed. You can stage the object however you want, or just take a picture of it in its natural environment. For example, you can showcase your favorite Mug, or your Pillow, or your Fireplace.
You can practice your photography skills if you want, but you can just capture things as they are.
Let's just encourage each other.
This is a no-pressure thread.
And if you skip a letter or two, you can always come back. You know your alphabet, so you can easily catch up whenever you need to.
Let's continue with the letter L. It could be your reading Lamp, a Laundry basket full of clothes, the Ladle in your utensil drawer, or your soft Living room blanket!
What will you showcase?
"I'm sorry you're having tech problems..." It shows, Michele, that it can happen with any app. 🙂
Both images are free to download; the link is provided in the YouTube video description. The picture I posted was just the girl who was selected from the image below.
I'm not sure why the crashes happened. It could have been because the "Model. afphoto" file was created in a previous version (a warning is displayed about it). But I made a copy of it and saved it in the newer version. Working with the Perspective Filter is tricky, too.
In the end, I saved a PNG file, which I then used.
Corrie, I'm taking an Affinity Designer class on the Affinity Revolution site.
I'm not sure if there are differences in what they offer compared to Udemy. It’s probably worth checking out.
