  1. Oops, guess I'll revise that to MY cats... 😉
  2. I hate to point this out, but cats are not prone to f**ts! 😹
  3. I tried out the blueprint technique with a local photo from Beacon, NY, of the Howland Cultural Center. It is quite spectacular in person. I'll also show the color photo.
  4. F is for FLOWER This orchid was a supermarket buy in the spring last year. Except for a short, 2-week rest, it has bloomed continuously. A bargain at $10!
  5. My condo has 3 smoke alarms + one that only detects carbon monoxide that my utility company sent as a gift. One day, I heard the familiar high-pitched screech but, looking around, I couldn't find why one or all of them were sounding off. They are all fairly close together because I only have a total of 900 square feet of space. I called the landlord and he ordered me to #1) check the stove burners and #2) get out immediately! I found one burner knob turned but with no flame. I shut it off, roared around opening windows and turned on the HVAC fan as I ran out the patio door, while worrying about my pets! Of course, they were in hiding so I had to trust the gas would dissipate quickly. It was a scary experience!
  6. good to know, thanks, Carole!
  7. I found it in my PSP2021 Ultimate. It was not visible in my PSP2023 Ultimate. Upon installing it said it was Express and offered an upgrade at $19.95 for the full version. I'll try it out and see if I'm interested enough to go for the upgrade.
  8. After struggling all week to come up with an "E" photo I finally decided to choose this "baby" photo of my Tuxie Eve. She was so alert and charming at age one! The font is called CAT Altgotisch and I used gradients for the frame and the font.
  9. No problem; I know "X" is difficult!
  10. Bonnie, I posted that the last time we had X
  11. I tune into my cable provider, Spectrum's News 1 at 5pm when I retire from my desktop. Their coverage is a lot of NYC local + national news and their newsreaders seem unbiased. At 6:30 I switch to ABC to catch World News Tonight with David Muir which segues into "Jeopardy!" which is a lifetime fav. of mine. I do avoid Fox, though I hear they are, in some cases, starting to voice real news instead of extreme political "spin."
  12. W = Walkingsticks
  13. R = Roaches
  14. X = Xylocopa aka the carpenter bee
  15. Oops! Sorry, I'll stop. 😁
  16. S = Silverfish / Firebrats Domestic species such as silverfish and firebrats may cause extensive damage to household goods. They often feed on wallpaper paste, bookbindings, and the starch sizing of some textiles. Cardboard and other paper products may also be damaged. The species is particularly long lived, some as much as 6 years.
  17. P = Praying Mantis
  18. O = Odonata Common Name: Dragonflies and Damselflies
  19. I do have another magazine layout to show you. This was from 2021.
  20. I = Isoptera (Common Name: Termites / White Ants)
  21. H = Hymenoptera (Ants, Bees, Wasps)
  22. I see it is "tickling the ivories" - apropos for an elephant, of course! 😉
  23. Thank you for the reminder. I just saved this workspace. The last one I saved was back in August and I know I made some changes since.
  24. This was from our Text Workshop last November.
