I love both papers, Mary! So intricate designs! Congrats!

Thank you, Julie! It's interesting how the ideas flow and how I started the layout differ from how it ended up, even more so with so many months in between. At first, I considered creating the cutouts across the whole page width, but then I decided to use only the title width. That led me to add an Interlaced Rope to practice this, too. I also considered having a Lifted Shadow, but then I concluded that was enough. 😄 Otherwise, I would never finish the layout, as I still have the Affinity Bootcamp, and I'm still learning PSE2025. But it's great to work with PSP, where I know where all the tools, effects, etc. are!

I finished a layout I started last year to practice the Lab12-M04 tutorials (Ledger Paper#2 -- Rolled Tape -- Streamer#3) Credits: Template Messy Gridded 4_4 by Lynn Grieveson. Cassel’s DateScript#8 and Rope#52 Picture tube Anna Aspnes FotoGlowMix1_3 Fonts: Luna Cute and Canastra

I agree; this is definitely something they could improve and have it the same way PSP and PS/PSE have it.

I finished project#1, and to simplify and speed up the process, I created the same layout I did for the 2019 Jul Scrap Bootcamp workshop. There are minor differences, as PSP has some features I didn't find in Affinity yet. The kit I used is from Kim Broedelet, "kb-seasideholiday". / Fonts: Bastro & Candy Round BTN.

Looks great, Ann!

The workshop is just at the beginning, so I think it would be okay to migrate the thread back here.

Mary, I like everything about this layout. Great work!

I could react to the comment and post... It looks okay so far

I tried to install the app but also got the 7-day trial page. So, I'll wait for further information. There are always glitches at the beginning of anything new. ------------------------ I'm not able to react to the posts as usual. It allows me once and then a message appears stating there was a problem reacting to the comment.

My first email also asked me to reset the password, so I took it as how Affinity had for me to create an account with them. I clicked the link, and it took me to a page with my name, email address, and a field to reset the password. I did that and received the confirmation by email that the password was updated. There were 4 options for Windows to download the app. At first, I was confused about which one to use as there were "2 exe files" and "2 msix files". So, I contacted Carole, and she explained the arm64 files were probably for tablets. I haven’t installed it yet, and will probably do it late today or tomorrow.

Carole, you did it! You can share my email for this 90-day trial.

Corrie, I think Anne's suggestion is great, and it would be interesting to learn how this and that is written in Dutch. Or, you can mix and match more than one language, as sometimes a word in a different language comes first than our native language. It is a mystery how our brain works!

Susan, you have expertise in many fields, and your work here proves it. 🙂

Carole, I’ve just watched the replay of the "Framing Anything“ Masterclass, and I want to say that your dedication, expertise, and creativity are the main reasons I am here. As I have mentioned, PSP will continue to be my go-to program. However, no matter which other program we are going to use simultaneously, the Campus will continue to be the right place for me to expand my creativity.

What a great idea, Ann, to create a Year in Review showcasing your monthly work from last year. Love it.

Ann, I love seeing a new page of the Wild Cats calendar every month. Always wondering which one will be next. 🙂

He is adorable, Jacques.

I don't have the Affinity Photo 2 program and will probably not have it when this workshop starts, but I am very interested in seeing how it works. If Carole can get them to expand the trial version, I may download it, but I am not going to purchase it right now as I am going in a different route. But, who knows in the future…

Jannette, this is a time when it's hard to find the right words. I hope the good memories you have of him will help to heal the pain of his loss. My deepest sympathy to you and your family. Take care. 💟

To Carole and Everyone here in the Forum, I wish you all a Happy and Peaceful New Year. Let 2025 be a creative and inspiring year with PaintShop, Affinity, or whatever program comes our way. Happy New Year! ----------------------------- Corel's 2020 clipart freebie.

Thank you, Ann! I also wish you a Happy New Year. 🙂

It does feel good, Susan! One less layout to complete. 🙂 Sometimes, I go a different route from when I started, but in this case, it was more to resize the photos and add a few extra touches, and it was done.
