Very interesting effect, Mary. I look like a painting.

Beautifully done, Julie. ๐ I get the weekly newsletter of a Lilypad designer. After the kids left home, she started creating layouts with her photos, sometimes documenting the good and also the not-so-good times. She went through a harsh period for some time (she didn't elaborate on the reason), and this was a way to express the feelings she had back then.

Julie, this happens to me a lot; I post something here and see the mistakes I haven't seen while working for hours/days with the layout. ๐ I just love fall colors, and the photo is beautiful. It's a perfect place to sit on a bench, relax, and enjoy the view.

kasany, I very much like the effect achieved with the CSH file.

Ann, the calendar is lovely, and the photo you chose for the cover did justice to it.
-
MoniqueN, again, you have created a beautiful calendar!

Congrats, Bonnie! ๐๐ฅ

Sue, considering everything related to it, what a precious document your friend has.

Hopefully, this will be soon, Michele. I miss seeing your work here. ๐

I also love it! I was looking on the internet for Aliens Clipart, and when I saw it, I had to grab it. Here is where I got it from. ๐

This time, it's a Halloween layout. I always have fun working with this theme, going through my Halloween folder, and choosing something to use. Credits: Background papers from Palvinka (Happy Haunting) & DiHiller (PS2020 Best Witches) plus Blend Mode. Tree Overlay from Granny Enchanted (selected from the papers plus Blend Mode). When I started here, this site was my first source of freebies. Cliparts from Corel, Freepik, and openclipart.org Cassel: Journaling Bits Script & the Effect on the Friendly Alien Clipart (Pop-up Masterclass) Font: Halloween Girls

Corrie, the whole calendar is lovely, and I am sure the recipients will greatly appreciate it. The result you achieved with the blend mode is beautiful!

Ann, another great calendar layout. I love the idea and the photo you added behind the dates!
-
Sue, it must be amazing to see this! I enjoy seeing the few (not even close to this scale) that get together here before migrating south.

Thank you, Susan! ๐งก

November & December. More Corel clipart Autumn /NewYear freebies. For December, I used Cassel's Alpha Beads script again. I chose the square format, translucent instead of opaque beads, and slightly uneven beads. There are four versions of the Alpha Bead script.

Here are my September & October layouts. I thought the August photo I used was way too colorful for September (it would fit more the months of July/August), so I played with Effects>Photo Effects>Film and Filters. Again, I added Corel clipart freebies, which I have had for a long time.

I cannot agree more, Sharla. The great thing about doing workshops together is seeing the different styles, uses of colors, and approaches to the same instructions. There are ideas I could apply to my work now or in the future. We could do this workshop anytime as Diamond members, but it wouldn't be as fun. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I have the same issue with photos not working with all types of masks. Most Pixabay photos were 1920x1280, so I first had to enlarge them until they fit the mask height. I duplicated the photos, blurred the bottom 100%, and scaled down the top photos to fit inside the frame. Not all were done this way, but most of them... It depended on the time I had or wanted to dedicate to the layout.

Ann, I love the layout, the background paper, and the pumpkin clipart on the 31st!
-
I love the layout, Julian.

Quoting Corrie: "I just take one of your posts to tell you that your photos are great and very creative. " Susan, I love not only your calendar but your photos; they are really great!
-
Wow, Mary, great ideas for doing things differently! This is one workshop I like to play around with, although I keep in mind that the recipient is my mother-in-law and what she likes.

Ann, there was probably a glitch after I edited the post; it showed twice, and I deleted one. I posted on Friday and wasn't back here until today. ๐

Carole, I could not be here this weekend, so I noticed this only today after seeing Susan's comment. I guess it happened because I had edited the comment, and suddenly, there were two equal comments. So, I deleted one, which probably had caused the glitch. The images are not from the same author or theme (pasja1000 & Couleur); I downloaded them a long ago.
