  1. G = Gold teeth, once a sign of wealth and showing off
  2. Great layout and I see where the dinos came from that we could us to make into vector shapes!
  3. I would love to join in the fun, but for me it will have to wait until the next coding course is on; at least I hope there will be a next! This one comes too early for me as I have upcoming dental surgery and a couple of special birthdays with parties, dinners and even weekends away. I'm still not fully recovered from my hip OP because of all the extra unpleasant things that happened, which I won't repeat now. I hope you all have great fun and learn a lot, maybe tell me and the rest of the scrapbookers what you think of this journey into scripting! Good luck!
  4. Julie I'm sorry for your loss, but be assured that PSP will be waiting for you until you are ready to use it once more!
  5. For my kids back in those days it was a Fisher Price camera too, but my younger granddaughter had something similar to Xavier's. She has outgrown it and got a" real" digital camera. Nowadays she and her older sister use their phones or iPads as all their friends and classmates are doing.
  6. My anti-virus (McAfee) which most of the time is very picky, sees no problem and let me down-load the newest version. But I haven't had the time yet to give it a try.
  7. U = Umami the 5th taste besides sweet, sour, salt and bitter
  8. Thank you I'm going to look into this!
  9. I do pretty much the same as you and as some other members. For my needs it works great and isn't too complicated! The main thing is that I can remember how I set this up and I don't have to learn a new system! I think I will stick to it, way too much work to start something new!
  10. P = Potato's wrapped in aluminium with herb- or garlic butter inside them.
  11. Susan when I have butterflies on my plants I mostly don't have my iphone next to me and if I have there are no butterflies to be seen.... But you managed to get ome shots of them. I like your colors especially for autumn projects!
  12. Donna, nice use of the directional tube script. You reminded me that I have that script too and I had almost forgotten it because of all the new scripts that I have bought since then?I will have to play with it again and make some more.
  13. M = Marsh-mallows
  14. Bonnie, you have been busy! If it isn't playing pickleball in a tournament then it is playing with pickleball layouts in PSP. I love what you made and you must have had a great time playing one way or the other.
  15. H = Herbs for seasoning
  16. D = Dessert, also from the grill
  17. Yah I was interested into making something, but only for my PSP stuff, for the rest I have my old and trusted system and it is partly in writing, because my husband must be able to find the things in it when I'm not at home. The rest is in files on the pc and they are named clearly. I till keep and old-fashioned address book as well for his use. Mine is on my phone. I will see what to do for my PSP, but I'm not very good with excel and I don't want to spend a lot of time on it either.
  18. I was busy these last couple of days and it took me quite a while to read all the wonderful posts that are still coming in. Everyone is doing their utmost best in this challenging workshop.
  19. Cristina I too would welcome such an Advanced Vector Workshop, as I feel that I'm starting to master those nodes now! So after some time, maybe next year, it will be great to take those vectors a step further. It means a lot of work for Carole though to prepare another Workshop. We can hope, can't we ?
  20. Here is: 1 banner with letters (font is Heart Arrow Monogram), 2 of my photos with a mask and 3 papers. I mostly start with a template to roughly get an idea where I'm going with my layout and then change it to something that suits the photos better. When I was in the States it was a surprise to see an American primrose which I immediately recognized because we also have primroses, I had some in the garden of our house before we moved. This one has the common name Mexican primrose, I found a white one called Prairie evening primrose and the Dutch name is Teunisbloem and ours are mostly yellow. Their Latin name is Oenothera. The European primroses all come from the Americas, at least that's what I read when I searched for info on them. So correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks to the Vector Masterclass it was very easy to make a path for the stitching that I used to hold the little flags of the banner in place. The backgroundpaper is one of a series of old maps which I have in my stash. I found it fitting for my topic.
  21. Day 7, already the last day! I'm very glad that we learned how to cut a vector shape because I have the Vector Spiral Script for a long time and I only could use it along the complete spiral with text or a picture tube. I have the explanation on how to cut the spiral but never could get it to work until now ?. I made the letter X with a garland tube and put the mas next to it, again something to use for a card (it's never to0 early to start thinking about Xmas!). Then I made a waterdrop with a fish scale tube and a spiral with the Vector Spiral script (it is a free script and it was a Featured Resource in the Campus).I gave the beads on the spiral different "christmas colors" with the string in silver. Carole I enjoyed this workshop very, very much, thank you for all the work you have put and are putting in to help us understand and work with these vectors! Now I'm going back to making and exporting more leaves and shapes for future us, but as a diversion I'll do the 1-2-3 challenge of this week.
  22. I like to make things that I will be able to use again. The Christmastree is a preset shape and I adorned it with Christmas bows. Next to it is a symmetric shape, a 7 pointed star that I changed using those lovely nodes and it has a spiral garland. Then my initials and their picturetubes are my own pearls and a hibiscus flower photo that I made into a tube. Unlike some of you I do not have had any problems with downloading or viewing the lessons and videos. My PSP2023 is behaving normally too! fingers crossed!
  23. Michele, the same goes for me. I once used to know how to do it and then I forgot and thought that it were my drawing skills that were not up to this kind of drawing by hand.
  24. Rene, very sorry to hear of your health problems and I hope your upcoming surgery goes to plan. All the best for a speedy recovery, so we can enjoy your work again.
  25. What a lovely card/envelop and message from Anne! I couldn't agree more; you are always so helpful whenever I have some issues. I make cards, I have always done in different ways and materials. Nowadays with PSP/Scrapbook and my own photos. I have a color printer, by no means a new one but it does the job very well. Some of the cards I have showed over here for different challenges etc.
