  1. Yes, you have that option. When I code scripts, I try to offer as many options as I can.
  2. Since it is left in layers, you can enlarge the photo or size down the mask ?
  3. That is often a motivator for members. I often use buttons either in clusters or in corners, a bit like they are holding the photo. But that is far from the only way to use them!
  4. I am not sure what the original size is for the pre-loaded frames, but notice that in the preview, you can see if they should be square or rectangular, vertical or horizontal. I think the PSP frames are a good way to go fast for someone who does not know better.
  5. I would strongly discourage you from doing that as it will distort when used in various situations: if you have a square frame to start and use it on a rectangular image (or vice versa), the proportions on the edges will be inconsistent if you have a frame of a certain dimension (say 1000x1000px) and use it on something larger (say 3600x3600), it will become blurred This might need a blog post as you are not the first one thinking that.
  6. Looking forward to some samples you will make with them!
  7. https://scrapbookcampus.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/1-2-3-Challenge.jpg Let's make things a little fun for you. Are you looking for ways to spark your creativity and still create something meaningful? This will be a new monthly challenge for you. Every month, you will be given instructions to use 1, 2, and 3 of something. Would that be more than you usually use? or less? Let's see. Create a layout using : 1 frame 2 folded elements 3 buttons You can create those elements or use what you currently have in your stash. Showcase any photo, use any template (if you want). Just make sure you include the required elements.
  8. Yes, Blend modes are great for coloring surfaces where you want to keep the texture as is.
  9. Depending on your PSP version, the Optimizer might not be necessary since you might adjust the compression directly in the Save as... dialog window (only in recent versions).
  10. The question is not whether the scatters need a shadow but what shadow to add. Anything that might be made of paper or such would require a shadow, but when you are talking about translucent elements, that is trickier. Maybe you can get some details in the Shadow Challenges Master Class. However, you are probably on the right direction with reducing the opacity. Remember that the more translucent something is, the less shadow it casts since the light goes through more.
  11. I already have a violet! But the begonia might be something to look into.
  12. Yeah, that might be a good one to try! And it is colorful too!
  13. I think it might just be the angle of photo. After glueing the flowers, they kind of moved and ended up almost aligned, which was not the initial plan!
  14. I have this one:
  15. If you hide the other three, then yes. Then, go back to PSP, hide/unhide a different one, and so on. But if you copy/paste as new image for each of them, you don't have to save them to use the Print Layout function and therefore you can stay in that window without going back and forth.
  16. I am not too familiar with flowers but searching online, it seems like the one I made. Do you have an image?
  17. If you want to save as a new image, it automatically means it will be its own canvas. Why not just save in .pspimage format to keep the layers?
  18. Thanks so much. That flower script is always making me smile as it is one of my very early scripts. I was still pretty new to scripting when I coded that one. One thing is that I can recognize that flower anywhere! ?
  19. Interesting idea. I'd have to figure out a way to replicate the shape and texture, but definitely interesting.
  20. I know, I keep chatting and showing off those miniature plants. I still have room for a few more. Do you have recommendations? Green plants are nice, but adding some colors could be interesting too. Let's chat.
  21. The way Corel has tried to help is to add the option to Import Content from previous version. I wrote an article on it. However, if you want the option to remove older versions (if you have too many) or if you would like to have all the supplies available on different versions, then you should have a look at this article that will show you how to keep all the supplies in one place.
  22. That looks like Bargello patterns!
  23. Too bad. If you have a recent version of PSP, you might have to test the various fonts by typing the same word you used, and scroll through the fonts dropdown list. The new versions of PSP will preview the fonts as you hover over them.
  24. I don't think there is such a way but just in case, did you check the Edit history by any chance? I wonder if the selected font would show there.
  25. I see where it shows the compatibility in the script. I'll have to see if it can be removed without crashing the script, or edit it in some way to prevent that change. I'll check it and get back to you as soon as I can.
