  1. Welcome to the Bootcamp, @Ann Seeber, @Susan Ewart, @Anne Lamp, @cindy harris. @Susan Ewart That is a great shot. Do you use a zoom lens? @Ann Seeber Those wisteria are fantastic. If you tweak the photo a little, you can brighten those colors even more! Who else is planning to participate in this Bootcamp? Just come and say hi!
  2. The right place for what? The bootcamp? If you are looking for the bootcamp, it is HERE.
  3. Very very odd. It is the correct link on my copy of the email and even if I go in the email builder directly, it is the correct link too.
  4. That is strange. It works fine for me. Hum...
  5. Glad to see you back in the Campus. Woohoo!!!!
  6. Learning scrapbooking is often done with practice, looking around for inspiration and trying to recreate projects we admire. This challenge will give you an opportunity to personalize a project while trying to "copy" another one. Of course, you will change the title, the text, and the photos, but you will want to try to replicate the arrangements and some of the effects you see. It is a challenge but in the end, you will learn more about scrapbooking and your PaintShop Pro. In honor of Mother's Day (at least in North America), here is a simple layout you will want to "scraplift". Although this layout was made in a rectangular format, you can easily use the basics in a square format. The translation for this says "Germain Handfield-Chauvette held, in her arms, three generations". And if you want more information on "scraplifting", check out this article.
  7. And how long did that take you? ?
  8. Hum... I'll have to check but I might have an edited version of the script that would convert it automatically! Good catch!
  9. If the compatibility is changed, it is likely when you used a script that does save files, like Open a copy for example. Very few scripts will use a Save as... command, but if it does, the compatibility has to be set to older versions of PSP in order for users of those versions to use the script. If you find out what script you used that caused that, let me know and I can tweak it for you.
  10. What have you found that has decorated a tree trunk? Have you ever seen a gnome or fairy house? Share some links. I am looking for more ideas.
  11. Wow! even I am surprised!!!
  12. @Suzy To avoid panic, I can tell you that there are ONLY 3 sites of mine related to PSP. I do wish they were all in one place but as you might have remembered, the history goes like this: in February 2008, I started selling scripts in consignment stores (Do It Digi was the first one). Over the years, they all closed. in October 2008, I built the blog in order to "promote" my new releases and share freebies in February 2009, I built my own site and loaded it with about 25 scripts. That happened to be on a different platform than the blog. in December 2009, I made a basic PSP course and was hosting it in a friend's forum, but she was ill and it only lasted about a year before she dropped the hosting and domain. In February 2011, I decided to go ahead and build my own site to share my tutorials. I was barely familiar with Wordpress (since that is what I used the blog) but it needed to be its own entity, and not an extension of the blog or the store. It took me about 6 months to build it, upload the videos, and set it up like a basic membership. In September 2011, I opened up the Campus to new members (two of them are still with us!) Obviously, over those years, all the sites have had content added every week or so. That is almost 15 years of content! I suspect I might have more PSP/scrapbooking content than the Corel site (but don't tell them!). So yes, you should have plenty to still discover and download! ?
  13. It might show more on a full-size. We know how it loses some definition when resizing! ?
  14. I have the gnome house to work on after the green room!
  15. But there was the April class!
  16. Hide your mouse!
  17. The Campus is the perfect place to learn more about photo editing, various techniques, or PSP in general. This challenge will give you an opportunity to practice some of those techniques or use some tools. This time, the Tut/Tech Challenge will be to create a preset shape for a tag. Of course, you can create something simple, but it would be a great opportunity to practice what was shown in the April and May Master Classes. Show the tag shape, but if you can use it in a project, it is even better. Show us what you learned.
  18. U = Unconditional Love
  19. Following Bonnie's suggestion, I have added some gardening tools, a bag of soil, and the seed packets (the coin is for scale). Also, since she has had a knitting project for a while, I figured I could add some wool in a box. Finally, I have added some more details. Can you spot them? It is still not completely finished. I also have two hanging plants that are not in the scene yet. The shelf is not glued yet so nothing is stable! If I sneeze, it all tumbles down!
  20. First of all, come and say HI once you register for this Bootcamp. We want to know who else will be there, on our side to cheer everyone up. Everyone started as a beginner, so don't ever compare yourself to others. You will learn one tool at a time, one concept at a time and you will create one project at a time. Everyone will have different photos and possibly different supplies so every project will be different. Once the Bootcamp is started, on May 15th, 2023, you can post your projects in here. Remember to resize your images to about 600 pixels AND saving in jpg format, before uploading them to the gallery (check this tutorial to upload to the gallery) so it won't slow down the site when we have lots of your masterpieces. Try to follow the tutorials at least enough so that we can recognize what lesson you completed. Now, let's get ready! If you missed the registration link or if you found this thread before I announce it (some people are very observant), HERE it is. Share it around if you want. Although this Bootcamp is mostly meant to help beginners, we won't exclude anyone for "excess experience". Some participants are back for a second (or third) round. You are always welcome. Remember that it will be the exact same tutorials so don't be surprised. I am sure you will now do something slightly different than the previous time. Since anyone can follow the whole Bootcamp using the trial version of PaintShop Pro, this is a perfect opportunity for anyone to give it a try and see how they like the program, so share with your friends who MIGHT consider using PaintShop Pro. The 7 tutorials will be spaced out over almost 2 weeks. This should make it easier for participants to follow without feeling stressed (it should never be stressful!).
  21. Depending on what I need to do during a certain period, if I need to bring my laptop "on the road", I might get by just with my mouse, but if it is for an extended period, then I will bring my tablet. It is not much bigger than the mousepad so it is not taking much space. It also depends on how you are set up; I doubt I would use my tablet if the laptop is on my lap!
  22. Believe it or not, the first few flowers I used for the green house were actually things I have done...40 years ago. Yes, I still had them! And see? They did end up useful after all! LOL
  23. It is a 1:12 scale, so each one inch for each foot, making the shelf a bit over 7 inches (about 18cm) and the monstera plant, the biggest one, is a bit under 3 inches. Working at that scale is a skill one needs to practice. Believe it or not, some miniaturists will do 1:24 or even 1:48 scale!!
  24. No, Cindy. I can't. It is a video file. You are not making videos, are you?
  25. No plan for anything for the store. The activities will be in the Campus this weekend.
