Cassel Posted February 11, 2022 Posted February 11, 2022 I have recently discovered a little phone app from Adobe (sh!) and it will extract a color palette from anything your phone sees. You should have seen me walk around the house to test this app! In the end, I think it is quite interesting, although I have not mastered really how to get the color palette from my phone to my computer (NOT in Photoshop). But at least, it gives the hex codes so it is easy enough to reproduce. I got this palette with some earthy tones. Can you create a project using these colors?
trish williams Posted February 12, 2022 Posted February 12, 2022 Sorry Duplicate, posted on the wrong page. February colour challenge 2, Use a background paper of sea and sand, added house, boat and breakwater boulders with trees added driftwood, snails, shells, and birds, fading and shadowing. Faded in a ghost and clock to finish. all items from stock.
Anne Lamp Posted February 12, 2022 Posted February 12, 2022 Here is my February Palette page. I made a pattern from the colors and then used the kaleidoscope tool on that for the background. The Mushroom was an outline only that I downloaded somewhere and then painted with the colors. It took me quite a while playing with this, partly because I had not used some of the techniques in a while and had to re-learn how to use some of them. Trish--Both of yours are beautiful.
trish williams Posted February 12, 2022 Posted February 12, 2022 Thank you Ann, I like yours too, clever and cute xx
Guest Guest Posted February 13, 2022 Posted February 13, 2022 here is my result for February PALETTE Challenge everything else I made myself except a bow tie and a dyed snowflake background paper made of photo Effects - Reflection Effects - Kaleidoscope the bow and the dyed snowflake are from digitalscrapbook.com
Minka Posted February 13, 2022 Posted February 13, 2022 Anne, Trish and Pirkko - All lovely!!!! Beautiful blends and all so original and different from one another! Love them. I plan to play with this one, too, later in the week. One of my favorite challenge forums - as they can be so vastly different where people go with them. Got company again though, so not much time for play. :( You gals are making us put on our thinking caps, for sure, to come up with something nice!
Corrie Kinkel Posted February 13, 2022 Posted February 13, 2022 The earthy tones of this palette let me think of all the mushroom photos I have and some have more or less the same colors. I used a multiphotos template without the top row where I put my text. Made a plaid by using the palette colors, the outer frame has a woodgrain texture and an inner bevel. Font is Bavire also with an inner bevel.
Sue Thomas Posted February 13, 2022 Posted February 13, 2022 I see many of you have been busy. Wonderful pages ladies, each one quite unique, and inspiring. I am coming to the end of preparing accounts for accountants for several clients. which means I will be back soon. Meanwhile, I had to take a short break.
Cristina Posted February 14, 2022 Posted February 14, 2022 Carole, this app can be very useful, and I love the colors of this palette. I agree with Minka; you all have created beautiful and creative layouts. It's a joy to look at them all! Great work, Trish, Anne, Pirkko, Corrie, and Sue!
Euka Posted February 15, 2022 Posted February 15, 2022 Selecting photos for the Quick Page workshop (from a visit to a zoo) I decided to play with the palette challenge colours. The papers are made from a selection of the palette and for the plaid I added a strip of white and used a filter that blended the edges of the colours. I see the beautiful pages posted here and such a variety of styles it really is a pleasure to view them all. edit. I have been making quite a few boxes lately - decided to turn this into one as well. Made with Vizros.
