Matsugirl, I guess that is why those scenes look Canadian; you are sharing similar weather! And yes, finding an image is definitely a long process! The colors you pick for the gradients are superb and match so well.

Ann, that is a neat trick to add color around the photos. Thank for sharing. And good idea for the days of the week too.

Susan, you have all the possibilities to change your mind, to change the font, the size, the colors, etc. Those templates are meant to be customized. That sideway photo really didn't look sideway. If you didn't say it, I would not know.

Gerry, that is a fun way to make a calendar when using a photo of someone who has a birthday in the month. A great gift for all those people. The font you used it very interesting.

Corrie, those templates and tutorials are meant to create the calendars quickly, so you will surely have time to catch up.

Pirkko, those eyes on the owl are stunning!!!

Linda, that date is very important!! Maybe PSP says you need a break?

Euka, that is quite interesting to have black and white images. For enlarging, I heard of a trick that MIGHT work (I didn't try it): instead of increasing by 300% for example, increase by 100% three times. I heard it takes less time for PSP to process that.

Anita, are those pictures of your cat?

Monique, it is so fun to see multiple calendars being created at once. Isn't that easy?

Chris, you will quickly catch up as those are so easy to complete.

Cristina, I caught you post to Pirkko in the spam, but I have no idea why it posted with today's date, as it was posted on the 19th! Technology!

Here is my Calendar for May 2022. The picture showcases our cat Leo enjoying his time on his favorite bench in the garden. Carole, you asked if all the cats on my April Calendar were my own. Yes, Calico Tom and Mr. Mooch have crossed  the Rainbow Bridge a few years ago, but they will always have a place in our hearts and their memories will live on. I used the Arienne Font again for the letter M. Then I used the tip from Carole's video and turned the date boxes a darker shade of brown.

Next two months I got done today and day 5 video.  Day 5 video is the hardest one for me so far.  Magic wand, selections are harder for me to understand, but I do like the results. :)   Thank goodness for your video Cassel.  Got a visual to see how it is done.  Thank you, too, for your kind words.

Gotta do a page with a picture of the highest mountain in North America, right?  Mt. Denali or the name I grew up with--Mt. McKinley.       August is Sheep Mt.

I finally got the first 6 done.  The font I used on all of them is Misha Gergoval except for the Js that I didn't like.  The photos are all mine.  The backgrounds I downloaded mostly from Creative Fabrica.  There is a lot to learn and Cassel is doing her usual great job, even with that it took me a while to figure out some of it.  My theme is nature.  OOPS, I forgot I needed to load them in reverse order.  Oh well.

Here is my page for Day 6 - June 2022. The picture shows the Residenz Palace from my hometown Würzburg in Germany. I used Ann's very helpful tip and added color to the layer "place picture here", before pasting the picture. Then I added Carole's pattern "bush4" for the upper part of the calendar and reduced transparency 24%. Added green color to fill in the lower part. Font is Carolina from Creative Fabrica for all letters  Added Mr. Mooch to the scene to overlook the beautiful flowers. I used to do my school homework in those gardens, it made for a great place to study. Added a psp tube from pininterest in the extra space.

A little historical note: The Würzburg Residenz with its Court Gardens and Residenz Square was inscribed in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1981. Interiors considered masterworks of Baroque/Rococo or Neoclassical architecture and art include the grand staircase, the chapel, and the Imperial Hall. The building was reportedly called the "largest parsonage in Europe" by Napoleon. The Prince-Bishops of Würzburg used to reside there after moving from the Marienberg Fortress on the hill.

On facebook    Scrapbooking with Paintshop pro I have uploaded a pspimage file with the names of the days in Dutch and German for someone who prefers that.  You can put that as a new layer in the templates. And change what you want.

It is not possible to upload here a pspimage file.  So this example is a PNG version.

Here is my July 2022 Calendar. I have used another picture from my hometown Würzburg, and of course, one of my cats jumped right on the top of the bridge. I used the Carolina font from Creative Fabrica again for all letters. I love the tip Carole gave us in the video about feathering the selection and also the tip about using the move tool and right mouse click. I have always had a hard time using the selection tool to center it around a project and had to start over many times. This tip really helps a lot as you can move the selection around. Thank you Carole!

The "Fortress Marienberg" overlooks the city and the old river bridge. Würzburg is also known for its many bridges. As I mentioned in my previous project the prince-bishops resided at the fortress before moving downtown to the Residenz Palace. The fortress is located on a prominent spur of the 266-meter-high (873 ft) Marienberg which rises about 100 meters over the Main river on the opposite side of the city of Würzburg. On the slopes around the castle are vineyards.

September calendar is picture of Mt Hayes, in the eastern part of the Alaska Range.  It was beautiful that day.  Blue skies, fall colors and fresh snow on the mountains.

October is a picture of a jelly fish.  We were in Kenai,  at a beach with a view of Cook Inlet and the volcanoes Mt Spurr, Mt Redoubt and Mt Illiama.  The beach had several of these jelly fish that were washed up.  Had to watch where we were walking.  They were so pretty!

Cassel, thank you for day 6.  Another day of learning PSP, that is fun!

Carole,  Ann and Pirkko's   latest posts, the images aren't showing, they are thumbnails.  I am able to click on the  thumbnails, in order  to view the pages.  I thought I should make you aware.

Absolutely wonderful pages have been posted, everyone is so talented, and creative.

Pirkko, I have enjoyed your calendar featuring Owl.  They are one of my many favourite birds.  I always feel privileged and humbled in their presence. Even more so when they allow me  get up close to take shots of them.

Ann, Downton Abbey is a series I have watched on only a few occasions.  I grew up watching Upstairs Downstairs, when it was first aired in  the mid 70's in black and white.  I thoroughly enjoyed that soap opera. I'm delighted you found a use for the word art, it's sits well on the front cover.
