Michele Posted January 27, 2021 Posted January 27, 2021 Fabulous layout, Ann. I haven't been on the new bridge yet, but I have armchair traveling down to a T! 1
Ann Seeber Posted January 27, 2021 Posted January 27, 2021 Here's Module 2 of the Scrap Course, featuring Croton Dam (photo from The Hudson Valley in Pictures). Used the kit: Let's Shop + bits and pieces needed. No real special techniques, just playing with papers and colors, etc. 1

Annie Tobin Posted January 27, 2021 Posted January 27, 2021 Ann, I admire both pages ... bridge and dam. You obviously appreciate the area you live in and that is wonderful. And, thanks for the geographical info my friend, very interesting. :D 1
Ann Seeber Posted January 28, 2021 Posted January 28, 2021 Lynda: The artist Kevin Michael Roberts has created a portrait of Amanda Gorman that he has for sale. Here's a peek ... prints are available at gumroad.com 1
Lynda DiGregor Posted January 28, 2021 Posted January 28, 2021 That drawing of Amanda is really nice. Thanks for the info, Ann. 1
Corrie Kinkel Posted January 28, 2021 Posted January 28, 2021 I posted this also in the Random Challenge, but I repost it here because everybody seems to be here with all these lovely projects. The info about it is on that page. 1
Ann Seeber Posted January 28, 2021 Posted January 28, 2021 Module 3 of the Basic Scrap Course, 2nd time around. This is titled Concentration and features the Short Eared Owl, common here in Orange County, NY. The background paper from a kit: Life Montage, the frosted branches lower right is the new Corel freebie: overlay. The title font is Wide Latin, doubled and shadowed. The owls were photographed by Joseph Licari for The Hudson Valley in Pictures. I'm also posting the same exercise from June 2020 so you can see the difference. Its title is Family and is the first photo of my grandson, his wife and my first great granddaughter, Magic, who was born June 4. Not sure if you'll be able to read the small text in the owl layout to I've posted it here, also: The short-eared owl is an open-country hunter and is one of the world's most widely distributed owls. They course silently over grasslands on broad, rounded wings, especially at dawn and dusk. They use acute hearing to hunt small mammals and birds. 1
Bonnie Ballentine Posted January 28, 2021 Posted January 28, 2021 Campers continue to excel. Beautiful work, Everyone! My young friends decided to marry during Covid...no ceremony...online to get the marriage certificate, say your vows to one another...no witnesses...you're married! Photo shoot some time after the marriage. 1

Karon Dey Posted January 28, 2021 Posted January 28, 2021 Ann: Awesome layout commemorating your time in bootcamp. Love that you included a computer with the Scrapbook Campus logo. Fantastic bridge layout. Gorgeous coordinating colors. It is a beautiful bridge. Croton Dam is another very well put together page, with colors that draw your eye to the photo. Enjoyed seeing our owl and family layouts. Both are fabulous. 1
Karon Dey Posted January 28, 2021 Posted January 28, 2021 Annie: Another wonderful idea from you and many thanks for the instructions. Your overlays are lovely. I am tickled "pink" over your Major Mitchell's cockatoo layout. And how the papers work so well with the picture. 1

Annie Tobin Posted January 28, 2021 Posted January 28, 2021 Hello Campus Friends. I have been busily playing with wordart as directed by Carole in her random challenge. The site I chose is Tagul which is now WordArt.com. Yet again, something that is addictive my friends ... kinda suits my personality. In both cases I copied words of poems to fill in the shapes. I will be creating a page using a wordart but for now these are two that I had fun with. Thanks for takin a peek! ;D 1
