This challenge will give you an opportunity to practice some of those techniques or use some tools. This month's Tut/Tech Challenge is to add text, design or other "ink-y" elements to a project while it overlaps more than one surface. Remember that an "ink-y" element would have no thickness so no bevel and no shadow. And if you want to give it even more of an "ink-y" look, you can use a grungy brush and erase slightly on that text/design. HERE is a blog post that explains how to add achieve that effect. In the sunflower page, I converted the photos to black and white, duplicated, and erased the flowers, revealing the colourful flowers underneath. It is already much earlier dark outside and this combines to give the feeling of autumn. So for this challenge, writing on different surfaces, I made something matching my mood.
