Cassel Posted May 12 Posted May 12 Our newest workshop will soon start. Are you in? Are you intimidated by vectors? Are you at a loss when you need to use them? The challenge will start on May 26th. This challenge will be FREE for everyone, so spread the word. This workshop will be using Affinity apps only (for PaintShop Pro users, it it was last week) Here is the link again: https://scrapbookcampus.com/workshops/vector-a Let us know when you are registered, and share what is the biggest challenge or fear you have about using Vectors. 5
Corrie Kinkel Posted May 20 Posted May 20 I'm in too and I'm looking forward to learn more about the working of vectors in Affinity 6
AprilDawn Posted May 23 Posted May 23 I will be doing this workshop also. Have not done a lot with vectors but decided to do this one for Affinity . 5
Cristina Posted May 24 Posted May 24 I did not participate in the Vector-PSP Workshop because I did not have the time. I am not even watching or practicing PSE or Affinity tutorials. I was looking forward to this one (and still am), but I'll just have time to do the first lessons, as I am traveling on the 30th... Last-minute decision. So, I'll only finish it when I'm back. 3

Jeni Simpson Posted May 25 Posted May 25 Looking forward to some more vectors. I think I may, in the end, be getting the hang of them in PSP, and repetition helps, so will keep doing these workshops. 4
Sue Thomas Posted May 26 Posted May 26 (edited) Day 1 I used all the techniques which I have already learnt from the Affinity template workshop, and from the start here with Affinity tutorials to showcase the photo. Its how I learn best, by being consistently repetative, until I have masters techniques. The arrows and hearts were fun to create in Affinity. Edited May 26 by Sue Thomas 1 10
MoniqueN. Posted May 26 Posted May 26 Simple, but ok, lesson 1 I haven't got the patience at the moment to go on and on with a project I won't use anymore than for this lesson.😎 5 5

gwen jewitt Posted May 26 Posted May 26 @MoniqueN.I don't think it matters too much Monique after all the lessons are all about doing what feels right for you. 6

Corrie Kinkel Posted May 26 Posted May 26 Day 1 for Affinity After making my heart and arrow I wanted to show them in a small and simple layout using a flower photo from my trip to California. If I have time enough I will make a layout for each day, in that manner I can repeat what I have learned until now. Repetition is the key to learn a new skill! 12

My thoughts are that it's nice to show them in a layout. It fetches the simple vector shapes to life. 5
Jeni Simpson Posted May 26 Posted May 26 Day 1 I downloaded a heap of gradients from Resource Boy and converted them for Affinity Photo, as per a conversation in the Affinity Tips page in the forum on the Campus. For the heart, I used the red gradients and for the arrow, I used gold. 9
