Cassel Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Once a week, there is a radio show that has been on for many years. It is called Vinyl Tap. It is 2 hours of songs that are picked around a particular theme. Sometimes, it has to do with a word, sometimes, a topic, sometimes it is another particularity (like "unlikely duets"). Now that we are in the fall months, use a title or lyrics of a song that has FALL or AUTUMN (or a fall MONTH) in the title. Examples of songs include "Don't Let the Fall" - Norah Jones & Danger Mouse, "Autumn Leaves" - Nat King Cole, or "Wake Me Up When September Ends" - Green Day. Are you up to the challenge?
Ann Seeber Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago There is a beautiful song called "Coat of Many Colors" by Dolly Parton. Released in 1971, the song tells the story of how Parton's mother made her a coat out of rags, inspired by the biblical story of Joseph and his coat of many colors. It's a touching song about love, acceptance, and the value of handmade gifts. I made this layout in 2020.
