Cassel Posted November 23 Posted November 23 Once a week, there is a radio show that has been on for many years. It is called Vinyl Tap. It is 2 hours of songs that are picked around a particular theme. Sometimes, it has to do with a word, sometimes, a topic, sometimes it is another particularity (like "unlikely duets"). Now that we are in the fall months, use a title or lyrics of a song that has FALL or AUTUMN (or a fall MONTH) in the title. Examples of songs include "Don't Let the Fall" - Norah Jones & Danger Mouse, "Autumn Leaves" - Nat King Cole, or "Wake Me Up When September Ends" - Green Day. Are you up to the challenge?
Ann Seeber Posted November 23 Posted November 23 There is a beautiful song called "Coat of Many Colors" by Dolly Parton. Released in 1971, the song tells the story of how Parton's mother made her a coat out of rags, inspired by the biblical story of Joseph and his coat of many colors. It's a touching song about love, acceptance, and the value of handmade gifts. I made this layout in 2020. 2 8
Daniel Hess Posted November 24 Posted November 24 (edited) Here is my attempt at this challenge. The musical War of the Worlds by Jeff Wayne is AWESOME and this is one of the songs in it. Scan the QR code to go to youtube and hear Justin Hayward (from the Moody Blues) perform this song as he did for the musical. PS..it's essentially a "love song". Edited November 24 by Daniel Hess 2 6

Corrie Kinkel Posted November 25 Posted November 25 As you see I combined day 6 from the Text Workshop with this Song Challenge; sometimes it is necessary to be practical! The photo is from 2 weeks ago, now there are almost no leaves on the trees anymore. The papers are by Jessica Dunn - Wild-Wood-Thicket and the enamel leaf and the small leaves are from her too - Autumnbramble mini kit. I used my own leaf picture tubes to make a scatter and the rope is one of Carole's but recolored to match my color scheme. 5
