  1. Thank you, Susan! I see now what you mean. I guess it happened because I had edited the comment, and suddenly, there were two equal comments. So, I deleted one, which probably had caused the glitch. I edited it again.
  2. Thank you, Sue! I agree; everyone is creating lovely and great pages. 🙂
  3. I am also in. 🙂
  4. July - August I forgot to mention, but I also added some of Corel's bird graphics freebies. Ballons from Janet Scott (ps_janet-scott_31183_tiny-but-mighty-3d-heart-balloons_cu)
  5. May & June
  6. March - April Chick - Corel-Easter-chick-5
  7. For this year, I decided to reuse the images I'd collected and used in the previous calendar workshops. They are all from Pixabay. I created the date boxes some years ago. I also have Cassel's Custom Calendar script, which comes in handy. I have created calendars until August. Here are January and February. I used Cassel's Alpha Bead script and Confetti Spring Picture Tube. Font: Baby Blocks. EDITED: Photos were not being shown
  8. Wow, there's no shortage of creative stuff posted! There are so many different styles, tips, ideas, and inspiration.
  9. Carole, repeating myself, I love these calendar artsy mask templates. After seeing some designers' work, I have been playing with this style for some time. I like the idea of a tutorial or class. 🙂
  10. What a touching and lovely layout, Michele.
  11. Thank you, Corrie! I am slowly getting used to this new format, although I might also use a 12x12 size. Isn't Anna Aspnes' generosity amazing? First time I saw such a huge freebie,
  12. Thank you, Susan! This MegaPack freebie from Anna Aspnes has so much great stuff that it's hard to choose.
  13. Mine is correct: January 2025, starting on a Wednesday, and February 2025, starting on a Saturday. By the way, I love the new templates!
  14. This is the layout I created to practice the tutorials from Lab12-Module 02 (Flash Card / Photo Prong / Worn Frame). Sometimes, it takes longer to find a photo that I can use for a specific Module. Again, I used 8.5x11 size. Credits: Cassel— Alpha-beads Script and the Metallic-Rope12 PictureTube. I was reminded of using this script after Julie posted a layout with Marisa Lerin's beautiful Alpha beads. Papers: From dunia (Lilypad) – Background: essentials_krafts_20 & Flash Card: essentials_whites_16 with a tad of Sepia Effect. Anna Aspnes: Art Mega Pack Freebie (Thread_ UrbanThreadz3 _UrbanThreadz3_1) Palvinka: Photomasks - Palvinka_MoreThanWords_photomasks_2frame I am very much enjoying this kind of photomask with frame. I used the photomask from Palvinka as a base for the one I created (worn frame). Edited: I forgot to name the fonts I used. Arista 2.0 -- LilyUPC -- Aurellia Script
  15. Best wishes in the procedure, Gerry, and a speedy recovery.
  16. Stunning photo, Sue!
  17. I only post my work at the Campus, and like Michele, I can't imagine anyone here using somebody else's work and passing it off as their own. But, of course, if anyone posts elsewhere, it is something to think about. I only use my logo on the place cards I create yearly for the Christmas dinner. But this is more for fun, as it's only family, and they are well appreciated, as many take them home. 🙂 By the way, Michele, I love your signature, beautiful font!
  18. I love it, Julie; everything about it!
  19. It's beautiful to see all the colorful flowers blooming in Spring, but it's special when Fall comes, and we see all these colors on a sunny day. Lovely work, Corrie.
  20. Susan, I am enjoying seeing your deck of cards so much. Although it will take you 52 weeks to complete this task, we can already conclude that the result will be great.
  21. Hi MoniqueN., I also noticed your absence here, but looking at what you've posted, it was for a good cause! See you then at the Calendar Workshop. 🙂
  22. Each of us has a system for keeping everything we have collected over the years. Most of my stash consists of freebies, but when I see something I like and that I could never create myself, I get it, but ONLY when it is on sale. The Lilypad site offers a 50% discount on some items chosen by the designers every Wednesday. It could be a kit or just papers, elements, borders, etc. I've found some interesting stuff this way. They also offer it on Fridays, but then it is only 20%. Usually, I unzip the files and keep the folder intact. But I separate some of the folders by theme, like Christmas, Summer, Halloween, and Fall. Recently, I have created a folder called "Artsy Designers" with subfolders that include the designers who create in an artsy way, like Lynn Grieveson, Katie Portiert, Rachel Jefferies, and Anna Aspnes. The type of layout I'll create will depend on the photo (person). Designing for preteens will be different than creating something about our trips, for example. Before, I would have only to please the moms; now, the children have grown older and have their own taste! 😄
  23. Corrie, that is a lovely card! I can only imagine how comforting it was for her to receive your weekly card, expressing that you were thinking of her and sending positive thoughts. The psychological side plays a big role in recovering. I like the title very much and love this technique of adding confetti inside a Text that Carole showed us in a Text Workshop a couple of years ago.
  24. Beautiful, Julie! The beaded-string title is just lovely. Sue has also created great layouts with them in the past, and Carole has some Alpha-beads scripts in case someone doesn't want to create them themselves; I have two of them.
  25. Your persistence paid off, Mary. It came out great, and like Julie, I love the Mardi Gras colors, too.
