  1. Betsy, beautiful picture of the moon, and you created a very nice layout with it.

Lynda, I love how you created the sneakers. They look great.

Bonnie, what a lovely message. Simple pleasures... sometimes they are the ones we remember the most.

Michele, great layout.  Nice idea to use the yellowish color of the seam for the title. It really stands out.

  2. Lynda, I love masks although I don't use them much... keep forgetting. I use them more when the challenge asks for it. I remember when I joined the Campus, I had no idea how to create my own mask, always using someone else's... I was so happy when I learned it from one of Carole's tutorial.

I like very much the mask you created and the contrast of the peach color background with the picture. Nice job!

  3. Hello Dawn :)

We are doing well, thanks!  Cases are going down again here, and almost everything is open, but we still take precautions when going out... I think we will be doing this for a while.

I do hope your health continues to improve, and even if not posting yet, you show up here and there. :)

    Best wishes <3

  4. I finally managed to complete my only one layout for this challenge. Every time I participate is an opportunity to learn and do things differently from the previous time, and it is fun and inspiring to see what others are creating.

    Thanks, Carole!

  5. Each work posted is unique and very creative. Great job, everyone!

Art, I remember the challenge  Tut-Tech "Painting on the Wall" from last year, when I was first introduced to a similar template.  I love what you did, and the "old guy sitting on a bench" gave a special touch to the page. Great work!

  6. Bonnie, the baby layouts are so cute. Very nice pages of the pickleball and garden.

Lynda, I am sure your sister-in-law will be very happy with this layout.  I love black and white pictures.  I like the layout of the film strip. It reminds me that I have Carole's Film Strip Script, and I will try to use it sometime. Lately, I am slower scrapbooking than usual, doing other things... I haven't finished the Travel Tale "one layout" yet. :)

  7. Carole, yes, as I am only creating one double-page with all the elements as I did with the previous Trave Tale Challenges. I prefer to have one finished LO than a few unfinished ones ... I have a few here!

Do you have any tips about the layout? I'd love to hear your input. :)

  8. I love to see all the new projects posted. Lots of inspiration. Great work, everyone!

I am still not sure about the papers, so  I played a bit with the blend mode. Now, only the pictures for the right side are missing, but this will go faster, as I don't have to create anything else anymore.

For Day 7, I wanted to create something of wood but also including a photo, like a photo painted on wood. It didn't come out as I thought, so I decided to make a flair button of it. For the writing, I inverted the colors, where it said black I did with white and vice-versa.

  9. Here is where I am so far. There are still empty spots for the photos but slowly progressing. :)

I am not sure if I will keep those papers, but they are from the "Great Outdoors" kit by Kristin Aagard.

  10. Creative layouts, interesting stories, great work, Everyone!

I am a slow scrapper, so I am creating just one layout. I am still in the process of choosing the photos, so that's why there are empty spots in the template. The photos are of a trip my husband and I did last year for a few days to Lake Constance.

  11. Lynda, I also have the ClipToIt script, and I agree with you, it makes a lot easier and faster when working with templates.

Michele, I am on Facebook, and guess what? We've been friends there since Carole created the SCampus Group! :D

I am not very active there and almost never post anything... I don't have it on the cell phone, and I only check it once a day, more to read pages of journalists and the Scrapbook Campus Group, of course... But I have liked many of your posts and commented on your work.

I would be happy if you could help me finding these blog trains. :)

  12. Michele, I love the layout you created for your gaming group. The dress images are really gorgeous and you found a perfect background paper to match. Great result.

It is the first time I am hearing about Scrap Designers and AnnieC, and those papers are really nice. I have to remember to use the edge punches; they gave a special look to the card.

I am glad to see you back here! Now, let's hope that Annie also finds her mojo. :)

  13. Swanie, what a great result for your first project. Well done!

Sue, thank you so much for your kind comment. <3 ... Your work is a source of inspiration for me.

As usual, posting something here doesn't mean I will not go back and change things, and this time was no different. I changed the background (KAagard "Great Outdoors" pattern2) and decided to add some stitching. I remember that Sue often uses the "Decorative Stitches Brushes"... So, I purchased and added one of them to the layout. I am not good at sewing, but I will practice more. :)

    Here is the new layout.

  14. It is always inspiring to see what everyone is doing, sometimes a color palette, choice of elements, different fonts, and so on. Everybody is showing great work here!

Here is what I created to practice the tutorials from the Lab8-M10 (Filled CutoutCrayon RubSplash shape).

When I saw the beautiful layout Sue created using this template from the Lab10-M02, I decided to use it with these photos.

Everything was created by me, except for the Paint element (KAagard “Great Outdoors kit)
