  1. Finally, after a long time, I was able to create and finish one scrapbook layout. I am happy to be working again with PSP.

Travel Elements by Pixel Scrapper Marisa Lerin and Gina Jones, and Corel freebies.

I added confetti that I created some time ago following Carole's tutorial (Creative Scrap>Miscellaneous>Confetti).

  2. Bonnie, what a lovely layout and bird. Great idea to use the out of bounds technique.

Lynda, very nice layout to showcase your macro photos. Great result... I love Cassel's Lift photo script and you had a good idea to use it with the ribbon-like element... I have never thought of using it this way.

  3. Annie, thank you so much for your kind words. <3

For the last weeks, I have been lacking inspiration for creating layouts and also for what to write... This is one of the reasons why I have not been very active here on the Campus. But, there is light ahead, as after working for days, I am finishing a layout, which I haven't done for months. : )

Although the long lockdown, the number of cases here is not going down, and the talks are that it will be extended again.  But I cannot complain, as we are all healthy, and this is what is important... For me, the vaccine cannot come early enough, but I have to wait for my turn. : )

Best wishes, my dear friend! <3

  4. Hi Everyone! : ) I haven't been here for a long while, and I see that there have been so many lovely and creative work posted in all threads on the Campus. I need more time/days to go over each one, but I just want to say hi first.

I started again working on a layout... hopefully, I will finish it in the next days. : )

    Best wishes to everybody!

  5. Dear Karon, thank you so much for your kind words. : ) <3 ... Christmas was different this year, and even with limitations, it was special. My mother-in-law was here as always, but not the rest of the family, and she was happy to see everybody in a video-meeting.

Dear Annie, you have a kind heart for sure. I share the same beliefs you do; I have my faith, but I am not a religious person, and I also care about my spiritual growth, but I am pretty much aware that there is a long road ahead of me. : )

Dorothy, I can only imagine how worried you were; the photo shows how bad it was, and I hope he is feeling better by now.

Minka, you created a lovely layout with the wooden Alpha.

Annie, you created a beautiful Alpha; I love it.

  6. This tutorial was so much fun. I am reposting here the 4th Gnome I created...  I am sure it will not be the last one.

I was inspired by illustrations I saw on the internet, and I used a cutout effect on the nose, as Sue McGuire did on hers (FB Group).

I used Cassel's Metallic Rope-04 Picture Tube on the hat.

  7. Karon, thank you so much; your words of appreciation and incentive means a lot to me. >3 You also never forget anyone in your comments. : )

Ann, Day 17 layout is beautiful, and I love the snow script... I wonder if this is not one of Carole's. : )

Minka, what a lovely layout to register these unforgettable moments.

Val, thank you. : ) Carole has some great picture tubes, and I only remembered to use those in my last version. Your Gnome is so cute, and what a great idea to use the garland on the hat.

  8. I posted, and after editing, the post disappeared. It might appear later as it happened before, but here is the post again.

Lately, I haven't been inspired to create scrapbook layouts, but I had lots of fun with the gnomes, trees, and garland from December Masterclass. It was a good distraction to everything that has been happening for the last months and all the concerns we all have.

So, here is my gnome. I decided to create him mostly using the pen tool, as I am still not too comfortable working with vectors. I was inspired by some illustrations I saw on the internet.

Sue McGuire said on the FB Group that she had created the nose with the cutout effect instead of bevel, so I decided to do it with this friend.

    I used Cassel's Metallic Rope-04.

  10. Minka, as Karon said, this is a beautiful Christmas wish and in much need everywhere. I do hope your friend's grandson gets well soon. I love the layout, and the colors are amazing.

Karon, this is a great idea, and I think you will finish it before me! ... I have been practicing the Masterclass's techniques and created 3 gnomes so far, starting the fourth, but I am not 100% satisfied yet with my results... But it is fun! ... I also changed my mind about using it in my Calendar because we are probably going into total lockdown starting Wednesday, so I had my calendar printed yesterday... But I will continue practicing until I have something that I like. : )

  11. Sue, they are lovely, and you also added feet and named them! : ) I will copy that idea and create one Gnome for my Calendar Cover as I have gnomes photos in 3 different calendar months. Good that I haven't printed yet.

Annie, I also could not attend the live webinar; lately, I haven't been able to stay up till 11 PM when it starts here... I watched the replay... there were so many wonderful ideas that I am sure I will use for next year's Christmas: Place Cards, Calendars, etc. This year the family dinner was canceled, waiting for safer times.
