  1. Terrific use of colours with this one Lynda ... bright and happy ... kinda makes ya wanna sit on a deck sipping cocktails! It does look a beautiful place Lynda and the photo of the lighthouse is lovely. Enjoyed perusing and thanks for your kind words on my page. ;D
  2. Ann, lovely photos of the 'rockin robins' and a terrific job on the plaid, brings the page together beautifully. You have a good eye for colour and your works shows it. I have had issues with PSP2021 from the beginning and that is why I always have PSP17 open as well. I don't think I have had to save as often in any of the others as I do in 21. I hope Corel's next upgrade irons out some of the humps! ;)
  3. Cristina, I love both these pages. My daughter went on a hot air balloon ride over Cappadocia in 2017 ... she loved it. Your background paper is so suited to this layout ... is it a texture or a pattern? ... either way it has done the job beautifully. Your page on Olivia is simple and sweet and again your background paper brings it all together. In case you haven't guessed, I have a thing about background papers ... have created hundreds of them and never tire of it, lol! Well done my friend. ;D
  4. Minka ... I love both your pages ... and, I have to confess that I love meeces and rats. My kids always had them as pets and I grew to admire them ... fascinating little critters and quite essential to the planet's environment. Like yourself and Bonnie I don't like to find them in my home so we trap them and relocate into the bush. Australia is experiencing a plague of mice at the moment, so definitely not a favoured rodent, lol! Rats are the most loving little critters but wild rats will bite! ;D

Val, a terrific page my friend and very clever to use one photo to fill all the boxes ... smart thinkin my friend. ;D

Lynda, you sure get some amazing views from your deck and your mandalas are beautiful ... totally understand the addiction. ;)

Corrie, an interesting and engaging page my friend. I look forward to further pages on the progress of this endeavour. ;)

Karon, I love your page, it is fun and I think it is wonderful how you have captured that selfie with the dinosaur behind you ... all too ready to devour you my friend! ;)

  5. Hello Campus Friends.  This is my take on the sketch challenge.  I guess - by now - you have all discovered that I love birds.  This page is a mish-mash of birds from all over the world.  The sketch was fun to work with ... thanks Cassel.  Thanks for takin a peek y'all.  ;D
  6. Hello Scrapbook Campers.  This is my take on the scavenger hunt challenge.  It was fun to do and I think I shall have another go.  Thanks for takin a peek.  (the font used for the title is Cocktails)

Marie-Claire you have done a lovely job my friend.

  7. Hello Scrapbook Campus Friends.  March 22nd heralds World Water Day.  Today my page is centered around that ... water.  These are the Curracurrong Falls located south of Sydney.  All my own making.  The alpha used is Retro Grunge by Clikchic.

I doubt the falls would look like this at the moment as the floods from there and all along the coast up to and including The Sunshine Coast are devastating.  We are getting rain here currently and we have been warned that the rain will be heading further up our way over the next 24hrs.  There are tent cities popping up everywhere and it appears the military will be deployed for air lift rescues.  Australia - drought, fires, COVID and now floods - who would want to live here hey!  Just kidding, I love it and the regional areas were mostly spared the COVID debacle.  It will be what it is and human beings just have to go with the flow.

Thanks for takin a peek.  ;D

  8. Michele, Cristina and Karon, thank you very much my friends for your lovely comments on my work.  The information I provide is usually sourced from National Geographic or Australian Geographic.  I'm glad you appreciate it because I am learning from it too.  From a historical geographical perspective Africa, Australia and Madagascar were once part of Gondwanaland so this may account for the fact that baobabs are found in those 3 countries.  Of course it is way more convoluted than that but you get the drift.  Can you guess that I love history and geography!  LOL!

The alpha I used was a PTU from Pixelmarket. Like yourselves it fascinated me so I had to purchase ... as you do! ;D

  9. Well I am right into this International day of business.  Today (21st March) is the International Day of Forests.  A Google search brought up loads of beautiful photos of forests and this one is of the Baobab forest in Madagascar.  Stark and beautiful.  We have baobab trees here in Australia and they have been know to save many a thirsty traveller who has ventured onto the wrong path.  This is actually classified as a forest and it is divided by the avenue for travel purposes.  The elements is the top right corner are balls tied up with ropes to the top of the page ... tutorial is Cassel's balls and bubbles ... a fabulous tutorial.  The flower element I misted and it is the national flower of Madagascar ... the poinciana.  The trees grow very well here in Australia ... seems to be a weird sort of connection between Australia and Madagascar.  Thanks for takin a peek my friends.  :)
  10. LOL! Karon and Michele ... guess what ... I did not purge a darn thang! But, don't give up ladies cos I am still working on my courage, LOL! :) Besides which, it took me all day to create my latest page.

In case you are not aware my friends, today is the International Day of the Frog ... and so I decided to do a frog page.  This little beauty is the mossy frog and it hails from northern Vietnam and China.  I think he is really a quirky little fella and deserves a page devoted to him.  All my own design and techniques inspired by Katie Pertiet from Designer Digitals.  Thanks for takin a peek my friends.  ;D
