It is a curved path, with a node and cursor pushing it. I am still wondering that myself!

Make sure the Mode didn't change. Often, if you "miss" the right point, it will change Mode thinking you want to draw some more. Make sure it is still in Edit mode.

Yes, that is correct. Once you set the Picture tube to the scale you want, and maybe the step you want, those are the settings the script will use.

Can you either clear your cache or try a different browser? The links for the videos are from a totally different source so they should no longer be linked to the downloads.

Not really. When the cut is made, they don't stand side by side so the best is to click a little off the middle of the "star" node, hoping you grab the right one. If you grab the wrong one, you can always move it back, close to the other but not overlapping so you can still grab the other node. Although it is a good habit to take, you can see the Convert to path option even without activating the Pen tool.

Do you have the correct layer active? Occasionally, a different layer gets activated and of course, available commands are different.

Sometimes, simple is just enough to get the message.

@Mary Solaas Why couldn't you save as a preset? Using Line Style for the stroke gives interesting effect. Beware that the effect will not necessarily show the next time you use that shape because, unless you "Retain style", the shape will be drawn with the settings active at that time, so if the stroke is set to 0 or the line style is set to something else, it won't display the same! So if you reuse the shape later, know why it might not show. @Dorothy Donn You certainly have had fun with those four shapes! @Carolyn RyeIf you clarify where you are stuck, we might be able to point you to any particular detail. That should make them appear closer together. @Royanne Hewko There are two possible explanations for the jaggied edges: (1) Anti-alias was not checked when you drew the shape or (2) you used the Pixel resize when sizing it down (or a combo of both). I am truly thrilled to see all the results you have come up with. I am also very happy to see how many of you overcame some frustration to finally succeed. And as you are getting more and more comfortable with the vectors, and nodes, you will likely be more willing to use them in your future projects. I am looking forward to them. I really don't know but I suspect it did, in a way. I am not really sure because it is the first time it happened and the number of downloads is a piece of data that is very deeply hidden in the database (I hate databases). I am inquiring from the plugin owner if there is a "simple" way to access that data so I could display it on each member's account page. Still waiting on him.

You got it with the Step. Unfortunately, there is often a tiny mismatched gap. The best solution is to try by tweaking the step, like instead of 110, try 109. Small tweaks might be enough to make that gap less noticeable. But otherwise, there is no way to get a perfect spacing.

For the DIAMOND members who are having issues with the videos playing, it looks like it is UNEXPECTEDLY linked to the number of downloads. I made a temporary change for now so you should be able to see them. I will look for a more "permanent" solution. @Linda J Walker @Dorothy Donn

Let's make things a little fun for you. Are you looking for ways to spark your creativity and still create something meaningful? This will be a new monthly challenge for you. Every month, you will be given instructions to use 1, 2, and 3 of something. Would that be more than you usually use? or less? Let's see. Create a layout using : 1 banner 2 Photos 3 papers You can create those elements or use what you currently have in your stash. Showcase any photo, use any template (if you want). Just make sure you include the required elements.

If you give some specifics of what is happening, where your result seems to differ, etc. it will help us help you by pinpointing possible details.

If I want my text to read like normal text, I don't want them "empty". I just fill with a solid color and the text will show like "normal" text. It is also easier to read, whether it is for a title, a date, or journaling too.
