Theme-Shopping-300x300.jpg

Shopping is something that we all do and need to do. Whether it is for groceries, clothes, vehicles, household items, and more.  We can shop in bog box stores, local shops, or even tiny booths are farmer's markets. We can shop in person or online. Do you have photos of your shopping experience? or photos of your purchases?

It is time to showcase those photos.

Let's go!

Not sure if ya'll scrap your theme. Thought what the heck.

Around here we love our Farmer's Market. It's so well attended that they constantly upgrade it. They just expanded the much need parking. Since they decided to have the Market year around they have "tented" all the sides. Still cold in the winter but the flaps keep the wind to a tolerable chill.

Shop away.

At first I thought I have no shopping related photos and I very seldom use photos from the internet, but then I remembered that I had taken a few pictures when I was visiting my daughter in the States. After seeing many films, documentaries, newsitems about America I was still very much surprised by the scale of the shoppingmalls and shops. Althought there are shops that feel more European in size and assortment. I have a America kit in my stash that I got from DigitalScrapbook.com and maybe I use it when I can visit/travel again. But it's a great kit for this Shopping Challenge and I used some elements, my photos and a template by Carole. The word shopping is a font: USA NATION and the word USA is a sticker from the kit.

I played around with the shopping bag freebie and made this one which I'm probably going to use on a card. I changed the color of the bag to red and made the papers a bit more matching before placing them in the bag. I already had made the snowglobe and the other 2 presents are from my stock. Made a tag and a rope.

For ME?? We just met. You shouldn''t have.

But I'm glad you did, lol.

I'm amazed that you got things at angle like that. I mess up everytime I try that tool.

Lovely work Corrie, I  love the tag you made.    For this challenge I used three projects that I had previously made.  Who wouldn't want one of my  bird books!!!! :-)  and a framed print.  I went through a phase of creating envelopes, here is one of them.  I did create the tag for this  page though. I also added a card I made, slipping it into the envelope.

Sue very nice and your tag is great. The envelope reminds me I have made a couple too and I have cards  that are waiting to be printed, but I'm out of ink. I'll have to order it asap because delivery is very slow at the moment and we don't have a shop here anymore. Maybe I'll follow your lead on this (again)!

Corrie, by all means!   That is why we post our pages, to inspire.  I have got the bug again, I'm going to create a few  more different envelopes. There is a tutorial in the  creative scrap.  Once you got the general idea, you'll be able  create different styles of envelope.  I will post an envelope in the file section of the  FB page, to be downloaded, and used in projects.   I have done all my Christmas shopping online,  for those at home.  Between the shortage of  postmen, and lorry drivers,  protestors outside Amazon facilities, and of course not to mention this  covid virus.  All the gifts ordered online have been delivered.  The cards and calendars which I have made,  were posted  on the  15th November.  Normally they would arrive within a week, last year, they took 6 weeks, missing Xmas and the new year.  This year they all arrived on  Tuesday 30th November.

Sue it's a problem with the postal services, you never know. My daughter says the grandkids haven't decided what to put on their wishlists and they have their birthdays around Christmas too. Last year they made a wishlist on the Amazon site and they probably will do so again, but I fear even if I order on the American site the presents either are sold out or will be definetivly to late. But if mum thinks it's okay..... I posted all the cards hopefully in time. For Europe I'll post them this week and domestic can wait another week.

Thanks for posting your envelopes, I know about the creative scrap tutorial and made my one for another project with a recipe inside. I have it also as a PSP-image so I can change it.

  • 2 weeks later...
Not at all scrapbooky, but I'm sharing anyway. :) I made it for one of my gaming group's daily looks and it had to do with shopping so here it is. The fonts are Advertising Script and Segoe UI Black. I made the frame using a ribbon from a free kit by @Sas_Scrapkit_Classy Christmas. Hope you like it.

Here's my house buried in boxes delivered by the various services in response to my online Christmas shopping.  ;-)

The frame is the December palette plaid, chiseled and buttonized. I also made a pattern from the palette and treated it to a kaleidoscope effect.

Yes, that's really my house.

Really strange thing. I opened my mail this morning and found this family image from pngtree. com . Can fate scream any louder?

The mall illustration came from Bing.
