I love to play in the liquify persona in AD. Here is one I did a few years ago. The original picture is a couple bluebirds on a branch in my yard. There are lots of choices in the liquify persona and for this I used the twirl. Then I duplicated the layer and flipped it horizontally and applied a Saturation blend mode. I then duplicated it again and applied a blend mode of Difference. The different blend modes really make a difference on what you get. I use it for wall paper on my pc sometimes. Here is the original, the twirled layer and final image.
I have some too but got busy with something else. It's a good idea. then i'd further add texture and other fun things PSP has in effects. Will post later tonight...hopefully. Thanks Michele, it's a good idea.
@Michele Your wish is my command and here are 2 examples. In one I used the original rectangle and for the other I resized it to a square so it will yield a seamless tile. Enjoy! Btw I think the results with the kaleidoskop are nice but nothing out of the ordinary which doesn't do justice to the "liquify" effect. Maybe if you play endlessly with it the result could be more spectacular.
