First popularized in Ethiopia, coffee has been enjoyed for centuries all over the world. The most commonly accepted story of its discovery is that a goatherd named Kaldi first noticed his goats acting unusually energetic after eating the berries from a certain bush. Intrigued, Kaldi tried some of the berries himself and found that they had a similar effect on him. He shared his discovery with the local monks, who began to drink the coffee berries in order to stay awake during their nighttime prayers.

Why is coffee so popular? Why do people love to drink it? Well, there are a few reasons. For one, coffee is delicious. It has a rich, deep flavor that most people enjoy.
