Yes Michele, it is not difficult to get addicted, because it is rather simple to do thanks to Carole’s good instruction and great fun. I forgot, I took my photos from Pixabay.
I like too the choice of your colors, that makes it! It is really surprising what effects you get choosing colors you would not necessarily choose for other works.
The same for you Annie!
Thanks for all your comments 🙂
I = Irish twist, Irish Cream ice cream, pretzels covered with chocolate!
Hi Annie, a wonderful layout! As a bookworm I like the topic you have chosen and the alpha fits absolutey well to the whole!

I went on and exercised the second link “Turn a photo into Pop Art”, this is a lot of fun.

August 24, 2019 at 6:23 pm in reply to: August Tut/Tech Challenge – Andy Warhol-inspired pop art #33552Ah OK, thanks Carole, I didn’t add in the middle, only horizontally and vertically! So a new test 🙂
August 24, 2019 at 6:19 pm in reply to: August Tut/Tech Challenge – Andy Warhol-inspired pop art #33550That was the first one.
August 24, 2019 at 6:18 pm in reply to: August Tut/Tech Challenge – Andy Warhol-inspired pop art #33548I tried the tutorial of the first link “Make your own pop art”. The thing I noticed I had a little problem to position properly with the move tool.
Sharon and Annie your feathers are just great, seems to be a really interesting and creative tutorial!
Congrats Michele for the beautiful flower punches works, many elements together!Cristina the points script was in the newsletter Creation Cassel, 23. June. Here for you:

You are certainly right saying the right photo will be the challenge :-).I heard her name but didn’t know her because I haven’t been around long enough.
Life makes you always pensive when a dear person is suddenly no longer there and it is always a stab into heart for those you knew and loved her.It is important that she lives on in the thoughts of everyone who knew her and I think that’s what she’s gonna do here.
So warm regards particularly to the family and of course to her friends as well!E = Elephant tracks, another fancy name I found for “peanut butter and chocolate fudge swirled in chocolate ice cream”
C = Cranberry
Z has been forgotten, so may I add it 🙂
Z = Zuppa inglese
Y = Yaslum, a russian coffee-flavored ice-cream I found, may be similar to the white russian of Bonnie
Xigua looks a bit like pineapple, Annie!
Just an idea and another exercise :-)!
V = Violet
Thanks Bonnie for your informations to “Nutty Buddy” and “upside down”!
T = Triple chocolate
Sundae = ice cream with hot caramel! Oh lala 🙂
R = Rum raisin
Thank you Lynda and as I can see you also love to discover new things, love your alpha, the zebra looks “authentic” (would certainly be interesting for a layout about a zoo or wild animals).
Oh Trish, every day a new birthday, you are really busy!! Love your backgrounds, hard to say which is my favorite … and thumbs up for the free spirit.
Thanks a lot Carole for the detailed and excellent explanation and help!
I already worked too with magic wand, less with freehand selection. I looked at your tutorial and flew over the help in PSP, chapter “modifying selections”. Working with the eraser I discovered a few days ago by accident the right mouse click, that helps a lot if you erased a bit too much. But sometimes there are just very small pixels which are a challenge when you work with the mouse.
That all needs to be trained. Work doesn’t go out :-)!
L = Limoncello
And I would like to add the more you find the more you want to try and work on it!
@ Lynda, like particularly the colors of your stain glass and Texas Hill Country is an eye catcher with the brush and the beautiful photos
@Dawn, thanks for your kind comment. I love to play with gradients and colors at all and I’m training a lot lately with the eraser and background eraser. The woman was on black background.
H = Heavenly Hash, I read it is similar to rocky road and was sold initially in L.A.
Yes Bonnie, the same for me, I would not have heard about ketchup, oyster, rocky road and so on … 🙂
Merci Carole pour les liens et l’indication sur l’opacité, je recommencerai!
I played around with the points script.
I tried yesterday the out of bound technique but at the moment I don’t know where is the mistake. May be someone knows it! I join the original photo I made, so that you can see it.
Thanks Sharon, I found 2 tutorials, “adding and installing brushes”. Your “shadow box” looks really cool! Certainly much work to realize it.
Thanks Dawn, sorry I wrote April, I could not read the last name of the writer.
Nice sunday to everyone :-)!
