My day 1 was of my grandson Danny. I only have 1 grandchild and he is the love of my life! He is 10 now (almost 11) and he has lost the ” little boy” in him and is becoming a young man. It is very seldom I get his picture these days, so I got 3 older ones to use. I used the kit provided and This Is Me February from Snickerdoodle Designs. This is a fun challenge! Thank you Carole! Your layout was beautiful!

I am working on my 2017 Photo Book. Here’s one of my pages.
Yes, the book is printed through Shutterfly. I made the book, my brother paid for the printing. Each of us has 1. I wish the movie was in the same order as the book, but I have a few pages out of place. I watch the movie more than I look at the book. My grandson will get it eventually and that makes me happy. I love making photo books, but I make movies out of them too.
Merry Christmas everyone and thank you for the sweet comments.

Carole, did you see my video? I fixed the link.

I’m trying – it’s not working well. I need to re-upload
I think I have it – try this>
My parents died when I was young and my sibblings and I were all scattered. 5 yrs ago, I lost my youngest brother to cancer. My other brother, sister and I pooled all our childhood photos and I made a book. It took me a year to do. I made the book, by brother paid to have shutterfly print them. It is to hard to show you here. I made a movie out of the pages. I did see yesterday a few are not in the right order even though the book is. You can see the movie on you tube; https://www.youtube.com/edit?o=U&video_id=S6MV7N3s5wQ
I hope you watch it, it means the world to me.
Sorry, this does not work. Look at the post below.
December 13, 2017 at 10:13 am in reply to: December Tut/Tech Challenge – Add yourself to any scene #16322When my grandson Danny was a small I took a picture of him standing in front of his highchair and I did this to it:
Well, here it is, Day 12. I have to say I have thouroughly enjoyed it. Thank you Carole for such a wonderful challenge and I look forward to it next year. I hope you do it next year! The templates have been awesome! I made this card using Snickerdoodle Designs By Karen’s newest kit Christmas Memories which is appropriate for this card. I also used Cassel’s Photo Edge Script on the picture. I used a picture from a few years ago of my grandson Danny and I. He is almost 11 now and is not the photo friendly boy he use to be. He is my only grandchild and here it is just my 2 daughters, Danny and I. My brother and sister live out of state and all grandparents have passed on. We have a small Christmas, but it is wonderful and we all look forward to it each year. I am sad that Danny is growing up and doesn’t do all the cute things he use to do. My yearly books use to cost me over $100 to have printed up. That’s “use to be”. This has been the slimest year so far and I don’t see the upcoming years getting any busier. I miss scrapping pages for my yearly books. I hope you enjoy my Card 12, I loved making it. I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a wonderful New year.
Big Hugs, DeLoris
Here’s my Day 11. I made it wih Holiday Hoopla from Karen of Snickerdoodle Designs. I also used Cassel’s brush 999-07 from Set A of Corner Punches. I did not have any of those and when I bought Set D Sunday, I had to go back and buy them all! I love em’!!!

Here’s Day 10! I could do this everyday! I am having sooo much fun. I made this card with Kimeric Kreations newest kit Merry Everything. I used the glitter lines on the envelope, but changed the blend mode to overlay since that is where the return address would go.
Here’s day 09 of the card challenge. This is a pretty template! I could make tons of cards with this one! I used Trimming The Tree by Karen of Snickerdoodle Designs.
Here’s Day 08 of the challenge. I used Kimeric Kreations kit Jingle All The Way. This is a fun kit to work with and I loved the template too!

Here is Day 07. I love the simplicity of the template, so I stayed with a simple design. I used Snickerdoodle Designs By Karen’s newest Christmas kit called Christmas Memories.
I went a little (lot – LOL) different for Day 06! I used Karen of Snickerdoodle Designs kit I’ll Be Home For Christmas. The car I got from her kit The Scenic Route (I re-colored it). The graphic I snagged off Pinterest.

Here’s my Day 5 of the Challenge. I was sick yesterday and was in bed most of the day. I went back in my files to get the pictures of my grandson Danny. He is 10 now and I don’t get many chances to take his picture. It makes me sad because scrapbooking pages of him was such a thrill for me. I enjoyed making this card and remembering how much fun he had building this gingerbread house. I used All Wrapped Up by Karen of Snickerdoodle Designs, but sadly it has been discontinued.

Day 4 Christmas Card Challenge – done! This was fun to do and a cute template!
I used Snickerdoodle Designs by Karen’s Handmade Holiday Scrap Kit. I love this kit and goes sooo well when you make your own decorations. Plus the angel is adorable!!!!
Day 04 Christmas Card Challenge is done. I really like this template! I used Country Christmas by Let Me Scrapbook Designs. It is a darling kit!

I’ve completed Day 1’s card and it was sooo much fun! I used Nibbles Skribbles kit Christmas Sparkle. That is my Christmas tree my girls decorated for me on Thanksgiving Day.
I am sooo looking forward to tomorrow! I have my grandson for the weekend and I will just have to throw him off my computer to do Day 2-3! LOL

Thanks Carole!

I made trees with Carole’s newest script Paper Trees and put them as a freebie on my blog. You can download them here:
Thank you Cristina and you are most welcome! I love using Cassel’s scripts. She makes scrapboooking sooo much easier.
Have a great day!

Ribbon Factory Script
I asked for the ribbon script and Cassel took it a step farther by making the Ribbon Factory. It gives sooo many option and I love it! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I ran the script, saved the files and then ran her Ribbon Tag Border Script with the ribbons I made. I added it to a QP I made for my grandson. You can download the QP here for your personal use, if you would like it! Download HERE.
I made a sub-folder in my Pattern Folder to put the pages to the scrap kit I was using. Then at the prompt for color/gradient/pattern, I chose the scrap kits papers for my ribbons.
I hope you enjoy the QP!
Hugs,
DeLoris
