I found out my cat is a Turkish Van cat. I joined a group just for them. I’m doing up pictures of some of the cats for their owners to print out. Ohhhh, my daughters cat Mama, got out of her hospital pj’s! I can’t believe she could do that! The pics are in a previous post.
My daughter’s cat “Mama” had hernia surgery Friday. She is the love of the family and everyone was worried about her. She is a ginger tabby and she rides in cars like a dog. Go for a walk, she will walk with you. Does she need a leash, Nope! She is amazing! I did pages for her surgery day to go in my yearly photo book. They put pj’s on cats now instead of cones around their heads. It is adorable! She hates it, but she is adjusting and feeling better every day!

This is a double page spread I made of my trip to the zoo with my daughter. We loved the Polar Bear Exhibit the most at the Columbus Zoo in Ohio. We went underneath and my daughter snapped this photo. The funny part is a mans reflection and someones arm reflecting in the polar bear’s bottom! The story if you can’t read it explains the reflections.
My daughter and I went to the Columbus Zoo Sunday for her company Summer event. This is one of the pages I scrapped. We had sooo much fun and this was was exhausted and couldn’t see it all. Making this page took me hours but I like the way it came out.

Thank you Annie. Heidi is a beautiful cat and the minute I saw that heart I knew she was the one for me! Thank you also for your sympathies about my friend. It was just sooo sudden and unexpected. Her children are really struggling. I’ll feel better when I get to New York next week to be with them.

Here’s my Day 04. I’m behind. I’ve had a death of a dear friend and I am going to Buffalo, NY next weekend for the Memorial Service. It’s been a tough week, it was very sudden.
I did this one of Heidi my cat. She is a doll and if you look at the picture on the right side, you will see the heart on her side. I love that heart! That’s why I adopted her!

DeLorisDay 2: This was a tough one because we are having thunderstorms and I have a huge sinus headache! I bought a cat tree for my Heidi and my 11 yr old grandson assembled it for me. Heidi loves her tree and sleeps in it most of the day.
I love what everyone is doing and I keep looking forward to seeing your new pages.

I hate photos of ME. But, Karen of Snickerdoode Designs is a friend of mine. She is making a yearly kit called This Is Me and a new set comes out every month that coordinates with all other months of this year. She taught me that we don’t (normally) make photo books for “us”. We make them for our children and grandchildren. We should include “us”, because we are just as important to our family as they are to us. So, I have made an effort to include me in my pages sometimes too.

Day 1 of the Double Take Challenge. I don’t take a lot of pictures any more. My grandson is 11 now and not too thrilled when I put a camera in his face. I can ony take soo many pictures of my cat Heidi! LOL. I liked this 1st template (thank you Carole), but I had to modify it to fit the amount of pictures I have. I used Kimeric Kreations Summer Dream Collection to make it. I won’t be doing a “theme” either. I only do my pages as I get pictures to do them. Different seasons, subjects, etc. But, when I’m done, I have a book for the year.

My grandson went to COSI. It is a science museum in Columbus, Ohio. This is the 1st page I did of his visit for my 2018 family book.My grandson Danny went with his Mom and aunt to COSI. It is a science museum in Columbus, Ohio. Here one of his pages I just finished for my 2018 family book. I used Kimeric Kreations “She Drew Inside The Lines” and grabbed a DaVinci drawing of wings for the backfround. I gave it a soft light overlay so the paper could show through.

DeLorisI just finished watching Carole’s class on snow, frost and ice. She did an amazing job and I learned a LOT! I did manage to do one picture during her class. I did not scrap it out, because I wanted you to see the detail of the picture. That was sooo much fun and I snagged up her Ice Texture Script too! It is a fantastic script!

DeLorisDay 05: Love Story (I’ve been calling it Valentines). I took this picture of Heidi yesterday. She was sitting so daintily looking out the window.
I like making my own masks, but honestly, I’d prefer a template. It’s faster! LOL This was fun to do though.

DeLorisDay 04: This was a fun challenge in that I have never made my own mask before. Thank you Carole! My family is very small; 2 daughters (Marie & Heather), 1 grandson (Danny), 1 cat (Heidi) and 1 snuggle bug (Richard)! I have the most pictures of Danny & Heidi. DeLorisDay 03 of the Valentine Challenge I used pictures of Heidi my awesome cat! I adopted her in September from a shelter she had been in for over a year. It has been fun to see her come out of her shell and become more loving every day! Here she is eating the yolk from an egg I fixed. I love the way she eats with her paw. She is such a lady!
