Carole, they are strips of paper, that I cut from the papers of the kit.
Thank you for your feedback… I appreciate very much because it helps me to improve… I will go back to the layout to correct it. I am still struggling with this type of shadow… Every time I want to practice, I watch the “Realistic Shadows” masterclass… I sure need to watch it over and over again. 😀
Wow, I am amazed by all the projects posted! Tons of creativity going on here; congrats to Sharon, Bonnie, Trish, and Annie. You all have created unique and lovely layouts, elements, and papers.
I am at a snail’s pace at the moment. I am not even going to try to catch up with all of you… Lost battle! 😀
And here is my Day 4

Hi Kim, Shirley, Mireille, Trish, and Doris, great to see everybody’s layouts… And to the Newcomers, with this challenge, Carole offers us a perfect way to learn and practice new techniques… We all are looking forward to seeing your projects. 🙂
Hi Mireille, thank you! <3 … I love Cassel’s tutorials.
Trish, Sharon, Bonnie, and Annie, I am amazed by your work! Papers, zipper, layout, templates… Amazing job, everyone!
Hi Everyone. This is my 4th time participating in this challenge. And every time is an opportunity to practice different techniques and Cassels‘s great tutorials.
For this exercise, I chose the following tutorials: Gingham Pattern; Frayed Edges2; Twisted String and Rust Texture. Like Mireille, I also used Burger Toppings Picture Tube and added Cassel’s Beads Art-Caterpillar freebie (Beads-Art Script).
Annie, Sue, Royanne, and AnnMary, these are beautiful and fun layouts! I like to enlarge and see all the details. Great work, ladies!
Trish, thank you. I’ll check the video later… You created another great layout. You are on a roll 🙂
Trish, thank you so much. I very much appreciate… I love the patterns you make.
Sharon, you created a very nice layout showing different techniques. Isn’t it fun to play with the tutorials?
Trish, and you also made me check what I’ve written. It was a typo, and I never noticed it! The word cook wouldn’t make any sense in a pitcher, right? 😀
You made another lovely layout. I didn’t know anything about Williams Morris, but now, after reading online, I have to say he created beautiful designs.
Mireille, your work is great. I love the flowers.
Michele, thank you so much for your kind words. I appreciate a lot. <3
I haven’t been very creative lately. I will try to catch up and start working on the Double Take Challenge and with the Lab 9-Module 09 tutorials. Let’s see how far I go 🙂
I started this layout some time ago, and nothing I was doing was pleasing me, but I finally managed to finish it.

Sue, your card is lovely, and it has so many details! I’ll repeat myself: I love your photos!
Trish, your work is so diversified. As Michele said, you deserve a prize. 🙂
Scott, nice photo. What a fun idea to add a squirrel in the sub!
Bram, your daughter’s photos are great, and also a very nice “a day at the beach” layout. I think it is unanimous, Carole’s alpha is beautiful!
Annie, I am glad that you have your computer back, but it is bad that you are still having issues with PSP. 🙁 … Have you tried to reinstall other versions? This way, you would be sure that it is only a version issue before purchasing PSP2020… About your resources, it would also be useful if you have them backed up on an external hard drive or in the clouds. Better safe than sorry 🙂
Your layouts are great. You are so creative!
Trish, nice work… I like the colors, the title, and the word cook inside the jar.
Annie, you mentioned that due to issues with X8 and 2019 you ended up uninstalling both programs, leading you to lose all the picture tubes you’ve created and purchased. Did I understand correctly?
If so, Carole has two great posts about how and where to save the supplies. Since I read it, I don’t keep my supplies only in the folders created by the program during installation.
Here are the links to the posts:

It is too late to save the supplies you lost, but these posts will surely help you not to lose the next ones.
I was just a few days away and when I am back the Campus is packed with amazing and beautiful layouts. It is a joy and inspiring to see all the layouts. Compliments to all participants!
Wow, I was away just for a few days, and when I am back, I see so many beautiful layouts, papers, and cards.
Trish, Michele, and Sue, all of your work are amazing and a joy to see!
Trish, I love your layouts, and Carole’s underwater alpha is lovely.
As Annie said, the “Freedom Lost” page says it all. It hurts to see not only the orcas but also other animals kept in such a small environment and obliged to perform every so often for our entertainment.
Now I know that Mireille is one of them, but I still don’t know who are the other two. 🙂
Sharon and Annie, you’ve been busy! Great work!
Libera, thank you for the link! Carole has so many great scripts, that is difficult to keep track of all of them.
Annie, this is a lovely layout! Cassel’s alpha is so nice, and I find it great the uneven way you arranged it.
I registered for this challenge, but as I will be away for this week, I will not be able to post anything…maybe later.
August 26, 2019 at 6:17 am in reply to: August Tut/Tech Challenge – Andy Warhol-inspired pop art #33639Wow, Libera, Michele, and Annie, you all made great layouts with this technique! Lovely work!
Oh, Carole, I am so, so sorry to hear that. 🙁 … I only got to know her in 2016 when I joined the Campus, and I always loved to see her layouts with interesting journaling and information about Australia. She will be missed here! :'(
Bonnie, I already commented on FB, and I will do again here, your pickleball-expert layout is so cute and fun.
Sharon, these tutorials are so much fun, and you created great examples of them.
Lynda, I love your marble background and the hand-drawn alpha.
Libera, the out of bound technique gives a great effect to a photo. It’s been a long time since I used it. I also like the effect of the Points Scripts (by the way, what script is that?)
Trish, I love the frosted pages.
Michele, all your cards are lovely, and my favorite is the first one with the frame. I am sending you my best wishes. <3
It is always an inspiration to come here and see everybody’s work. Lovely work, ladies!
First thing, this photo is so cute having his mouth covered with ice cream; and you Peggy and Annie, created some lovely and creative layouts with it. Great job, ladies!
Sharon, Trish, and Annie, you all created some lovely and yummy layouts! Great job!
Hi Everyone! I’ve also registered for this challenge, and as always, it will be another great opportunity for me to practice and learn.
